MSquared said:~~Alfalfa Brew with AFF (alaska fish fert) & MOL (organic blackstrap molasses)~~
Good Afternoon 420!
As I have posted in a couple journals about building and implementing my own brew/tea setup. Here are all the pieces you need to accomplish this yourselves.
Parts List:
20Gal tote w/lid - 7 @ HD
20Gal whisper air pump - 10 @ petsmart
6' of air line - 2 @ petsmart
5" airstone - 1.50 @ petsmart
1qt of AFF - 8 @ HD
1qt of mol - 4 @ health food store
1 bag of Alfalfa - price varies based on size of bag I got a 25lb bag for 17 @ a feed store
Here is the receipe I am working with: of course I amended it for my setup
ALFALFA TEA Recipe
20 GALLON TRASH CAN or Container with Lid
16 CUPS ALFALFA PELLETS (obtained from feed stores)
1/2 BLACKSTRAP MOL/Agave
1 CUP FISH EMULSION
Add the pellets to the container. Fill container with water. Stir a lot or turn on air pump with airstone. Cover container tightly with lid. For the next three days stir "tea" several times a day in order to dissolve the pellets. Keep covered. On the third day add fish emulsion and MOL. It is ready to use on any vegetable, plant, tree or bush.
Let stand for up to one week until it bubbles with fermentation. Your nose will tell you that it's ready and boy this is the truth...
So here we go....
Here is my container with 10gal of water with airstone pumping away.
This is the whisper I have
This is after a few days of bubbling away and boy you can smell it when you remove the lid...
Next I add the Aff and Mol let that bubble for another day and then use it on your ladies
I also mark the side of the container so I wouldn't have to measure out my water again. I can just add the hose to it and fill.
I took this picture about half way through my feeding.
so there you have it. Please all comments questions are WELCOME!
Have a great day!
Looks like a serious BREW you have going on there!
Does the stuff smell really bad between the A pellets and the Fish Emulsion? I imagine that it would based on the Alaska Fish Emulsion alone! I use the same brand but only on my outdoor plants cause I can't take the odor indoors.
Too bad you don't have any purples so we could test our theory on this working as well as something like Purple Maxx to bring out the purp in that phenotype.
Thanks for the link to your journal! I'm subbed in now and will be following along from here on out! Your clones look amazing! I had no idea what you were up to over here!
