And P13 x Kerala because she's so photogenic.
Peace
That crossed my mind last night, but I wasn't sure if she would throw nanners, so I was going to wait until harvest tomorrow. It's a bit tight in veg at the moment as well. I'll have to see if I can squeeze her in today. Thanks for the reminder.Have you started longer lighting on soon to be cut and reveg lady? I think it was Graytail said that helps get a leg up the transition to reveg.
I'm loving the bud structure on this one and it hasn't hermied, which I was kind of expecting after the trouble the mother was to grow. I've got more seeds if I need to look again. Probably at least 20-30.Looong foxtails on that one! Got many seeds?
Thank you Amy! It's another one of my testers, that I want expecting a lot out of either. I may end up attempting to reveg it as well if the first one goes well.Wow! Photogenic is right - just beautiful Morglie
It's actually a pretty good yielder. It's a single cola plant that's in a 1 gallon and I'm expecting at least 1.5 zips from her, maybe even a bit more. If I had grown her in a 5 gallon and topped her, she's be one of the heaviest producers that I've grown. That's one of the reasons I'm wanting to try a reveg.I’m looking forward to smoke report. You might pop more seeds to find something that yields better imo.
I'm struggling to get a good shot of her. She's got spirals of those long foxtail buds all down her length. The mother had the same spiral of buds.Good to know, couldn't see it from a pic.
Can I offer you a suggestion for revegging?I'm harvesting a Sinai x Ultra Dawg Saturday that I'm going to attempt to reveg. I'm planning on keeping the bottom branch and the two single buds that are the next node up. I would normally take her another week or two, but I'm thinking it may be easier to reveg her if I don't push her to the very end of her natural life span. She's in the window. Astringent lime scent on her.
The Mulange are coming along. The bottom left is a Jack Herer that I finally got to pop, after planting 4 seeds.

Thanks! I've been wondering about this. I've had a good current run and haven't gotten any seeds at the moment, which I've been worried about messing up. I pretty much always have a here seeds here or there from the males I've been playing with. Can I offer you a suggestion for revegging?
If you have a plant you know you are wanting to reveg.....stick that plant back under 18/6 a week to 10 days before you are going to harvest. This will start working on converting it back into the veg cycle which will start transforming the roots into vegging roots instead of flowering roots. It generally takes 10-14 days for most plants to register the shift in lighting and won't generally start any of the funky new growth associated with revegs. A plant won't throw any new growth until its had enough time to start growing new 'veg' roots.
It speeds up the process and increases the chances of a successful and vigorous reveg. I tried it on a Hawaiian for shits and giggles and worked incredibly well and fast. I just re flipped the plant which is bigger than it was when I grew it initially.
Putting her back under 18/6 or even 20/4 won't hurt the buds on the plant at all.
Good info!Very interesting Stank!
It seems like it's the ones we don't clone that end up being the ones we want to hold onto. I got out of the habit of cloning everything to keep my plant count on check, but it seems to bite me in the ass every so often.Good stuff Stank! INteresting timing for me too. I have 3 or 4 chocolate thais and the "runt" is pushing the biggest buds! Of course I didn't take a clone, bc she is the runt. I have never done a reveg but I will give it a shot.
Sheers,
Pure Sativas continue to have active root systems into late flower, so I would imagine that they should take to revegging better than hybrids or indica. Should be fun too see how they turn out.Give it a shot brother! Looking forward to seeing how it works on a pure sativa. I think its a great tool for saving something.
I love the countless variations there are to learn and play with.Yeah the normal rules don't apply for most of the Equatorial sativas. They flower based more off sexual maturity in their natural environments vice photo period. Their roots play by a different set of rules too. Ain't it cool how very little with this plant is a one size fits all!
Cool! It will be nice to be able to compare progress.I am going to try re-veg. Pot Chimp seems successful. I like the idea of keeping everything. The practice itself is an art because mites, pm, bullshit can really take a toll on a clone. And when you have 25 or 30 of them, things can get real bad real fast.
I had 2 orders over the years get snagged by customs. ACE just wants to see the letter and they have no problem resending the order. Sometimes they'll ask if there is a secondary address they can send to.
Im 2-3 weeks put. Maybe I should put the plant in question into 18/6?Cool! It will be nice to be able to compare progress.
I put mine back into my veg room last night. 16/8 lighting. I held off on harvesting her. Hopefully that'll give her time to start growing veg roots again before I shock her with harvesting. I've got a Purple Dawg BX that's getting cut next weekend and I'm adding her to the list.Im 2-3 weeks put. Maybe I should put the plant in question into 18/6?
I'm not going to get as long of hang in the summer as the temps will be in the 70s, but the box is sitting on the cement slab floor, so it should still stay in the 60s and get a decent hang time. This winter it's been mostly in the 40s. I'm basically doing a slow and low dry without the inconvenience of it being in a container that needs to be shuffled around.Hanging dry in low temps makes all the difference.
