Doing a flush and nute change today. Its gonna be Ph water and maybe a bit of Silica for today and I'll finish up adding nutes tomorrow. These plants regularly show hooked leaves like theres a Nitrogen issue. Since the stretch is over, I'm gonna cut out Nitrogen completely and cut back a bit on the Calcium. Grow More makes a Nitrogen free Calmag just for flower, I may pick up a gallon of it then bring back a little Nitro... just a little.
I will be adding Hula Bloom as the PK booster. It's also from Grow More. I will be using Gen Hydro Armor Si for Silica. I dont like this product as much as other Silica additives. Its Ph is way out of line, and should be adjusted even before its added. I've seen it as high at 10 before fixing it. As always. I will be using fulvic acid. If you guys arent using fulvic acid, try it. It helps chelate elements to help make them more bioavailable. An excellent example of fulvic acid at work is the mother plant in the closet. That poor thing was circling the drain. After a week or so worth of flushing then adding nothing but fulvic acid it's back in a big way. It's the best looking Strawberry B I've grown yet. It works equally well in soil or water.
This plant as a whole is doing ok, but not stellar. I'd like to turn that around.
I hope yours are doing well!
Yeah. I have these microscopic bugs I only usually see them on the reflective surfaces. They fly, but I think they must go after the THC cause they fly for shit. I neemed them really well and the leaves are curling a bit. I tried to wash the leaves a bit, we'll see how it goesI was wondering what was going on i was like god damn neem oil huh.
These things are tiny. Much smaller than thrips and they're light colored. Our thrips are bla kMust be thrips.
Fuckin bugfLittle fuckers.

I'm not completely getting rid of Nitrogen. Theres quite a bit of it it the calcium. Which strain that wants more Nitrogen in flower than veg?Ah, ye ole friend silica. How I love and hate thee. I do love silica, but the potassium which accompanies it is a pain to deal with.
Are you sure you want to eliminate nitrogen completely? You really need to keep at most a 1:3 ratio of N:K, and 1:2 is recommended for flowering plants. Without it you can actually hurt flowering production as the plants still need some nitrogen. Some strains actually use more in flower than veg, but they all still need some at the very least.
Don't get me wrong, this isn't meant to be judgemental, just a spot check for sanity's sake.
I've been using Dyna Grow's Pro-TeKt, and it does a pretty good job. However, yes, it will raise your pH and then try to buffer it up over the first couple of days of a new mix.
I've been setting my pH initially down to 5.6, and after a couple of days it drifts up to 6.0/6.1 or so. If it pops to 6.3, I'll bump it back down to no lower than 5.8, and no higher than 6.1. Just depends on where it lands as the pH down mixes in.
I've also found that it has a breaking point to its resistance. It might take a good bit of pH down to get to start coming down, but at some point the amount required to push it further down seems to diminish quite a bit. Put too much at the wrong time and you're headed for pH UP. (Wanna guess how I found that one out? )
I've had Nitrogen toxicity in flower for using recommended doses once. I would never put more Nitrogen in flower as I do in veg... I dont think many wood to be honestFound it!

It’s all about perspective I suppose, I think you have all kinds of room in there! But look at the mess I made, lol I get claustrophobic in my own tent. They’re all looking great Shed, nice work. Not sure what text will show in the preview, but the link is good.
Effectively it was White Rhino vs Hash Bud vs Berlin.
The Hash and Berlin both used more in flower than veg. Not a lot more, but more. The Rhino had about the same difference, but to the other side and used less.
Pretty interesting stuff.
