Mono's Perpetual Soil

Everything has only been given plain water so far. Was hopping to have fed them by now but the pots are still holding a bit of moisture, hopefully should have dried out in the next couple of days.

Temps and RH have sat at around 23 degrees and 50% respectively.

Will begin some low stress training on the autos by the weekend, although have no idea how they will react to it or if it will do anything to improve yield.

Sage n sour has sprung a tiny tap root from the seed so will be able to put them into soil tomorrow morning. White Widow x Skunk #1 has just began to split open.

great looking plants, not one of them is struggling at all.

after looking at your soil I'm wondering to myself if I water too often?

Thanks for the kind words my friend :)

I find it very difficult this early in the plants life to control the water needs as I use at least 3 litre pots from the start. They seemed dry at the top but poking my finger into the bottom the soil was still really wet.

Have you ever used a moisture meter?

It's a hard balance to find my friend, don't want them to get droopy and begin to wilt either.

I found my previous fungus gnat problem was due to watering a weak plant at the same frequency as the others, never noticed the soil was always soaked. When I finally pulled it the roots were rotten and some form of fungus was growing lol.

luckily I can pick up my containers and this really helps me water properly.

makes sense that with big pots you don't need to water much at all, until they own the pot. let them continue to search for the water with the help of gravity :)

i'll be keeping my eye on that pineapple chunk. I love skunk, especially the cheese pheno, and they crossed it with a pineapple plant? SWEET

super skunk is banging as well. quick flower, strong and SUPER stinky. my acid/diesel cut has super skunk in it and its much stronger smelling than the skunk #1 that was in my master kush.

just wait till week 7-8 of flower, shell be stinking real good haha.

My experience exactly! It's even harder when the seedling is in a 2 gallon pot! ;)

I can't believe the size of that Anesthesia Auto. 10 days? She's huge!!

I started my sprouts in 7 gallon (~26L) pots :bigblush: There's no way I'm lifting those regularly, dry or wet. They'd feel heavy as shit either way :laughtwo:

I just keep my pots on the dry side though most of the time and use a mega high drainage mix.

She is doing really good, much better than the others :)

Everything was fertilised at 1.5ml / litre of canna terra vega. Each pot took 1 litre of water without run off which should keep them happy without saturating the soil.

The little pineapple chunk seedlings were given only plain water this time around and will be given the same treatment of fertiliser the next time they dry out.

Still no sign of the sage n sour or white widow x skunk #1 seeds having broke ground.

Some pics to come later on today :)

That first pick looks like she is being quite submissive and just begging to be tied up and LSTed! ;) They all look great though!

They will all be getting the straps put on in the next couple of days for some lst. Going to do it light on the auto flowering plants so as to stress them as little as possible. However, the pineapple chunks are going to get it rough!

The strongest of the pineapple chunks is going to get a further 8 weeks veg before I put her under the hps on 12/12 :)

First signs of the new beans breaking ground this morning.

Both sage n sour are above ground, along with both White Widow x Skunk #1.

The auto's that were fertilised yesterday have made a full recovery and have put on new growth over night, appears they liked their food :). I will begin gentle lst on them over the next couple of days.

Hope everyone is having a green weekend :)
