Mono's Perpetual Soil

So, the strains we will be growing are as follows

Anesthesia From Pyramid Seeds (Auto)
Jack Herer From Advanced Seeds (Auto)
Super Skunk (x3) From Vision Seeds (Auto)

Pineapple Chunk From Barneys Farm (x5) Feminised
Snowbud From TH Seeds
Sage and Sour From TH seeds
White Widow x Skunk From Regular Seeds

All seeds will be grown in soil, using canna terra professional. Going to stay away from the pro plus this round. CFL's to start off the show, followed by the 600 watt hps for flowering the regular seeds :)

I plan on growing all the Auto Flowering seeds under CFL, and veg two possibly three of the regular seeds depending on space.

Four weeks in I will switch on the HPS and begin flowering the regular seeds. I will move the autos into the big tent under the HPS for the 12 hours it's on for more light intensity and give them the further 6 split between 3 hours before HPS then 3 hours after.

Hopefully the increased light will give denser buds on the autos without me having to run the HPS for 18 hours a day :)

Glad you dropped by and gave us a shout buddy. Just caught up again, not sure how I came un subbed but back along for the ride. Looks like youve gone big already love it. Hope you get your cycle stuff dialled in nice and quick and hope you get some good smoke for xmas!

Glad to have you back my friend.

Well since herbies are so good I ended up with 8 free seeds to add to the collection. All of which arrived today. Flawless.

Thanks for the kind words buddy, I'm sure the autos will be done by mid December. If the soil hurrys up haha

And finally I finished up by giving them all a generous feed of canna terra vega at a very mild 1ml/litre (1/10 manufacturers recommended dose.) And put them back under the lights.

Hey buddy, thanks for the kind words.

The white stuff is Perlite, yes. I used it at a depth of around an inch as a preventative measure against fungus gnats which became a thorn in my side on a previous grow.

It seems to be easier, and cheaper, to just use perlite now rather than trying to get rid of the gnats once they have taken hold. It also means that the roots of the plant use all the soil in the pots rather than having an inch or so without too many roots.

Starting to get bored of waiting on this soil coming now, got everything else ready to begin growing again other than one of the key ingredients lol.

Went for canna terra professional this time other than the professional plus. After a couple of grows with the pro-plus it seems that it does not have the same drainage qualities of the professional. Also the addition of larger pieces of bark means having to riddle the soil first, rather than just mixing in a little perlite.
