Mono Grows a Pound

The little white widow seedling (feminised) taking the total plant count to the magical 9. Five photoperiod plants and four autos :)

As you can see from the pics I made a bit of a rudimentary screen for the Sleestack Skunk. Although not pretty, hopefully it will allow me to keep her (hopefully a her...) under control and maximise the light to bud sites to be. The screen is higher at the back of the tent so hopefully we will see even bud growth throughout. Tomorrow I will do a good lst session, have been putting it off too long so far. Sleestack has around an inch or so to grow before she is through the screen so I will be able to slowly train her through over the next week or so. Not sure on a flip date yet, will need to see how the autos progress. Thinking around the 2nd or 3rd week of December.

great looking plants. that screen is ingenious! I might have to try coco when my soil runs out cause it seems that the price has come down.

Ahh that's great B. I really do think you will see an increase in yield from the coco. Only thing I would say is they require more attention than soil, watering pretty much daily. Do you spend much time away from your plants? If so it may not be worth the switch..

Finally managed to get in the tent and give then a bit of a training session. Very pleased with the growth rates, even though I have been topping and pruning them on a daily basis they are continuing to put on size. Gave everything a good drink today. Once again only water. Still no nutes... And no signs of deficiencies...

Pistils showing on 2 out of 4 autos. I will start them on a bit of pk 13/14 next time they are thirsty to give them a nice kick in the right direction. Did a little bending on the autos, moved some fans out of the way to encourage the stretching shoots.

Must say I am very pleased to see they have pre flowered now, will give them a good three more weeks of 18/6 before I drop the light cycle down to 12/12 for the photo girls.

Thanks for the kind words buddy. Glad to have you along for the ride :). I have toyed with the idea of a humidifier/dehumidifier for a while now, would love one. Just don't know where I would be able to fit one in the tent. I expect I will be bursting at the seams in the next few weeks. Autos are just pre flowering and hopefully about to explode.

Does yours sit inside the room or is there any way it could be ducted in?

Mine sits inside the tent, it's probably about the size of a small heater, about 10 inches x 10 inches, maybe 4 inches deep, so it doesn't take up much room at all.

I dunno about ducting it in as my concern would be that the majority of the moisture would just end up on inside of the ducting itself.

I think you're probably fine at 44% anyway, and like you said that'll be great for flowering :)

44% is just about what im averaging too, a helpful hint, seeing as i bought a humidifier and it didn't do squat for me, hang up CLEAN wet towels or t-shirts and have one of your circulation fans hit it. Ive been able to keep my tent at 60% rh using them (when i remember to re-wet them)
best of all, its free
