looking out of this world man, can't wait to see them stretch in flower!

Thank you :) I think stretch may be slightly subdued given their age. However, I had planned on veging bit longer, around Christmas time. Yet, always very aware of the increase in first 10 days of 12/12 so made the decision to avoid over crowding :)

I'll be switching into flower on the 10th, given the girls 7 days of down time since I trimmed/pruned/cloned on the 3rd. Although sadly, I dont get to worry about overcrowding =p

Good call on the recovery time. I wish I could have got a little more upward growth on them before inducing 12/12 for larger colas. Not sure what's better, 10 large, or 30 small lol. Will be keeping a close eye on your journal buddy, always exciting times when we growers hit the flowering stage :)

Most certainly. I liked the thought of an outdoor shed. Totally secured, keeps mrs mono out of the equation in the eyes of the law :)

Will it be all insulated mono ??....

Only asking as i been watching alot of late night cop shows recently.... A " bear in the air ", was pulling off a job. Heading for home.. It flew over a travellers site... 3 sheds were glowing away like hell in their thermal sights... When it got raided, it had just one 600w hps in each... They stood out like Hell.

Just a thought matey

That is a very big thought that one, since like you said they would stand out like a sore thumb. I was thinking of using the big insulation boards you use on houses. 8ft x 6ft and 100mm thick. Figured that would be enough, might think about adding a few layers of the fiberglass top up stuff too.

Walls I was going to use a couple of layers of the fiberglass rolls. Would love to have used hemp but its so expensive :(.

Since I live in a very rural location I didn't think there would be an issue with helicopters flying over head, I had been more thinking of temperature control in the summer and especially the winter time.

Glad to hear ya in the sticks matey, less chance of getting buzzed by the rozzers.. That insulation board should do the trick fella.

Im still planning to sheild my space with expanding foam filling adhesive. To minimse any heat signature. Although i shall be growing spring- autumn... The natural heat of the loft should hide it..

Hope to be going LED, so heat will not be too big an issue..

You have loadsa time to workout the details.. Just wanted to give ya the heads up, on what i saw.. The sheds only had mylar drapped around the walls and nothing in the roof space... They didnt think it thru very well....

I think " scottish", has used expanding foam in an outdoor grow, thats where i got the idea from....might be worth asking him on the details..

You are obviously clued up and considering all angles of this future space, its time well spent matey...

Like my ex marine dad taught me.... The 5 P's

Prior planning prevents piss-poor performance.

As for the insulating boards, have a look on fleebay... There is a seller, doing slight seconds at a reduced cost.... Perfectly functioning, just very light cosmetic damage... Mite save yaself some pennies.

Have a great weekend mono

Made the purchase of beans for the next round. Will be doing a bit of a mix of strains in the hope to find a strain that suits my needs in terms of yield, high and taste. So far I have a couple of regular 'afghan' seeds from herbies (freebies). Another WW from Dinafem.

The recent purchase was of 5 feminised snowbud (akorn) from TH Seeds. I had great success and really enjoyed growing their sage n sour out last year, so really looking forward to finding some interesting phenos from their indica dominant strain. Not too sure what sort of freebies will come from herbies, may be the WW and Afghan again.

Strawberry Cough will also be on the agenda for next year, hopefully get her in the greenhouse or polytunnel for the short outdoor season we have here in not so sunny Scotland:)

Herbies and Midweeksong have both been very good to me.
In fact my current grow, the CSSH was a freebie form Herbies!

And it is a total mix of strains, which is going to make it so very enjoyable!
hand picking my favorite phenos, and then cross breeding and back breeding until I can stabilize them is very fulfilling. But hell if it isn't space/time intensive.
