"Water as normal" yes wait until dry first.
Start with 1/4 of 10ml and slowly raise up as they get bigger. Too much IS NOT better than the right amount. They can probably take the whole 10ml but you never know. The companies often suggest too high an amount as they are trying to sell it more ;)

Make sure you shake the nutrients vigourusly every time you use them too. They are usually heterogeneous, so if you don't really shake them then the nutrient levels are different every time. You REALLY need to shake nearly every growing liquid every time.

Looking good man! With the extra 2700k your plants will most likely stretch alot since it will mimic the light of summer more than spring. Adding more blue/white at this stage is a good idea. :)

Hey bud, just to make sure are you saying i shouldnt or should get more 2700k bulbs. The idea was to go friday and get another 2 20w 2700k cfl bulbs.

My current setup:
2x 85w 6400k cfl = 170w 6400k
2x 20w 2700k cfl = 40w 2700k
Total = 210w mix spectrum

After friday setup will be:
2x 85w 6400k cfl = 170w 6400k
4x 20w 2700k cfl = 80w 2700k
Total = 250w mix spectrum

And that is then how i was planning to run the grow then till harvest.

Is this a good idea?

I will do so in the long run as led grow lights in S.A. are hellish expensive. For instance a decent 300w full spectrum led is R3000 where one 20w cfl globe is R35. See the price difference. But i will definitely save up for one for my next grow. So for now its cfl all the way.. But tell me. Is the setup im aiming for good enough for my first grow. Look im not expecting massive yield and thc oozing rocks of buds.. Just a decent crop for a first time grow and to learn from it as much as possible..

Hmm seems like a decent mix, you dont really need anything else than 6500k for veg since you wanna keep them down low as much as possible before switching. Why are you having mixed watts btw? The trouble with CFL is that the area where the spectrum actually mixes is so close between the bulbs that you will probably wont benefit the plant much by having so it woule be better to have 1 big CFL for example 250w that got a designed spectrum than mixing several small ones.

@ Fingolito Well i read a few post and blogs that said having a mixed spectrum is a good thing... I will only still keep them in veg another 3-4 weeks and flip to 12/12 for flowering... Plus once again.. Those big cfl 150w plus are once again out my budget... Plus my income is on a low side at the moment so I'm making do with what i can get my hands on. And other money i have I'm busy pushing into a new business venture and if that takes off i will be able to go the led route but that wont be for another month or two... So wish me luck with what i got and let me learn out this first budget grow as possible..

Haha yeah and the plants won't give a shit how you give them light so just make due with what you got :) if you wanna go LED cheap style I would take a look on those spider COB. Think they're about 120w real wattage and should easily cover a 1x1 space (60×60cm). They got IR+UV+full spectrum for a very affordable price.

Yes as ottawagreen mentioned its South african Rand. Yes its ridiculous. That specific light that is selling for 189 dollars by you is R6000 by us.. But if your do a direct currency comparison, its suppose to be like R2366 here by us but the shops sell them for R6000. So how they get to there prices i have no fuking idea... But i will have a look if i import it what the end cost will be and get back to you guys.. Got 2-3 months to safe up .. So lets hope for the best.. Even the importing of the seeds i want to get for my next grow is gonna work me out something ridiculous but thats something i really dont mind paying for..
