Monkey's First Grow

So today i untied plant one and redid the lst.. Here is some pics..

yeah as you can see in the beginning it was this topped and i tied down the top new branches and the direct bottom two branches to get the light in there. now i loosened all and started tying there whole stem to the side and then bending the top again to a more inward sequence .. this will be one funny shaped plant but idea is to keep it short as it is a sativa strain

the other reason im trying to keep them as low and small as possible as they are sativa strains, so they wanna grow long.
so i'm trying all skills possible hre
 
There is no set time. You could switch now or in 4 months. Only depends on how big you want them. How big depends on your space and your light power.
They typically get 2-3 times bigger from the day you switch to 12/12.

Try to make them as wide and short as you can. Once they fill most of the width and depth of your cabinet you are ready. Try to do that while staying as short as you can. Tall plants do not yield as well as the light does not go through.

I had her topped at second node (noob mistake) and then fimmed her on the 2 upper nodes and thats it. The rest is bending/tying down/waiting lol

I dont want to say its a good idea how i have done it, and i would do it differently next time...mainly because it stunts the plant when you top too early and it gets overcrowded when you let it grow freely after that treatment.

But if you wait until node 4 or 5 and then create 4 main tops and then top all 4 tops again, removing unwanted lower branches and stuff.... Then you should get better results. Just let the main branches flat as long as possible... But dont forget to let her grow some colas before you flower or you end up golfing :-)

I like long vegged plants... It took her a while to get to this point, had her with a small small CFL for 2 month because i wemt out of room (that seed was supposed to be an emergengy plant, now actually on duty) and then 3,5 week veg under my COB array before flower.

Yea I looked up LBH's Scrog Tech and Nebulas Manifolding tech. They Both TOP the 5th node, and Lst to Grow Horizontally .
Really Good Job Though. Very Impressed. Here's where i got the idea. Full Step by Step Guide.
