MNS - My New Spot

Yeah, that's a pity man. Had a similar issue last round, but from too much UV from the 2 plasma lights. Raising humidity helped a bit for me. Also, once jarred up, they got their stink back.

Critical Skunk

A wonderful union in the making. Since Critical Mass has stormed the stoners scene in Europe and gained recognition in other places world wide, its cousin Critical Skunk is a great alternative to those who wish to get a plant that has all the facets in a plant that will make the grower and user equally as happy. It is a worthy relation and definitely gaining its own momentum amongst the MNS family of breeds.
Heritage:Critical Skunk
Category: The Naturals - Old school genetics
Family of breed: 75% skunk, 25% Afghan
Breeder: Nevil and Shantibaba
Preferred medium: Bio and Hydro, Indoors and outdoors/greenhouse
Expected yield: Critical Skunk has the potential to be a heavy strong plant and one for those commercial ventures. We would expect it to yield similarly to the Critical mass 650-800 grams per square meter. Of course we are talking of a selected mother being cloned in this yield estimation.
Flowering period: Indoor flowering usually takes between 6-8 weeks but it really depends upon the mother you select. Grown outside in the Northern Hemisphere it would expect to be complete around the end of September or early October. In the Southern Hemisphere you could count on March for completion.
Recommendations: For the inexperienced growers to the most advanced. Especially for greenhouse growers worldwide or short outdoor seasons.
Special Notes: This plant has the possibilities to add yield and flavor to the grow room. It is like growing a dense cola of all things good and flavorsome in serious indicas.

We live and learn.. then I usually repeat it, just to make sure what I learnt was correct  well that's my excuse  hopefully when in a jar she comes good..

Medicine Man
A proven Medical marvel for those in need of high levels of the most active cannabinoids such as CBD. Almost toxic at times, so handle with care and don't abuse the medicine, man . It has won many awards since its introduction as the white rhino in the late 90's. An incredible strong genetic heritage stemming from a Brazilian sativa/South Indian hybrid combined to a prodigious-yielding Afghani. It is in the Widow family and a proven champion for the sick and terminally -ill patients. For those who prefer indoors, then expect an incredibly resinous and compact Indica look from this plant. It has an expected flowering time of 56 to 60 days. For outdoors in the northern hemisphere expect harvest around October and in the southern hemisphere by May. The yield should be at least 600 grams a square meter... but be careful how you handle the Medicine, Man!
Heritage: Medicine man
Category: The Naturals - Old school genetics
Family of breed: Afghan x Brazilian sativa / South India
Breeder: Shantibaba's
Preferred medium: Bio and Hydro, Indoors and outdoors/greenhouse
Expected yield: indoor 600 g/m2 g/h & outdoor 450/600 g/plant
Flowering period: Indoor expect it to be completed in 56 to 65 flowering days.In the northern hemisphere it should be completed by October and in the southern hemisphere by late April to May.
Recommendations: For the inexperienced growers to the most advanced cultivator.
Special Notes: It was also known as White Rhino when it was first released - a tribute to Denis Peron's (art.215) for Medical growers.

La Niña
A family member that had previously been kept private for The Family. Known also as El Nino (Bio Cup 98 HTCC) but it is better as a female therefore the name change to La Niña. It manifests characteristics that are predictable, contrary to her previous name implies. She has a genetic composition of Haze x Widow, making her an inevitable candidate for a hot love story with her consumer. Those who grow La Niña will be in for a happy end product and a delightful growing experience...so let the seed take you on a journey.!
Heritage: La Niña
Category: The Naturals - Old school genetics
Family of breed: Brazilian sativa/South India x Haze
Breeder: Shantibaba\'s
Preferred medium: Bio and hydro, indoors, outdoors/greenhouse
Expected yield: indoor 450-550 g/m2 g/h & outdoor g/plant dependent on climate.
Flowering period: Indoor expect it to be ready 56-70 days. In the North/hemisphere it will be ready by October and in the South/hemisphere it will be complete by April.
Recommendations: For the inexperienced growers to the most advanced cultivator.
Special Notes: A winner of the HTCC in 98, know also as El Niño. Also a very hardy and reasonable practical hybrid.

I love the way you post this stuff, I love reading about the various traits and effects of a strain. Cannabis must be one of the most interesting plants to grow. The only other plant I know that has this level of breeding and strain competitiveness would be Chillies. They are similar in the way people hunt Landraces, breed for strength or shape and flavour. I grow Chillies and I had great fun cross breeding, I made some great pods and it was way easier than I had initially thought. I think my skills have transferred over to my grow, hopefully I will get the same results ! I think I will try some cross pollination at some point, it would be great to grow a unique strain.
On another subject, have you seen the stuff being grown by Manali West Grizz ? Their stuff looks insane ! They are growing buds with over 30% THC, the Nova OG is hitting almost 36 ! Their Pink Starburst is a beautiful looking plant.

I think whatever plant you get into, the breeding gets just as technical and the search as involved as any.. my old man was in dahlia flower competitions. That gets technical what they try and create.. I love growing chilli plants.. awesome looking things. I want a hedge running up my driveway of chilli plants. Look awesome too, all green hedge with red chillies everywhere..

Morning matey :passitleft:

Hey Grizz, all looks good in your neighbourhood. Have you tried that coffee recipe yet?

Nah, haven't tried it yet.. I've gotta get the oil.. not really rushing to try it.. the bullet is awesome though.. get a lot of juice from a piece of fruit. And smashes everything up.. great in morning, cornflake banana strawberry smoothies and smoke'o Apple carrot celery and ginger. using it a fair bit, trying to get money's worth

Yeah, been a great buy.. powerful little thing.. going to save me some also, juice bar here sells smoothies for around $8..

If I can get some of my own bred, I will send you some seeds mate. I have some seeds ready to plant this week, Thai, Habaneros, Jalapenos and a heap of others I have saved up. I would have planted them earlier they would have been snail food !

That sounds awesome

I grow mostly feral birds eye, seeds from previous year.. would like some taller plants.. Do you grow Bolivian rainbow chilli? They would make nice looking hedge..

Potted all seedlings into my coir mix.. looking good now, clipped the dried leaves from them, hopefully they take to the coir..
