Cool story, not sure I shared this. It's not mine but my brother in laws.. .. I had him working with me a few weeks ago.. he told me his sister rang and said her and her husband were in a documentary and asked if he would like tickets to the screening.. he goes there, and it's a sit down and talk to those involved.. his sister and husband and the producer, David attenbough.. his sister and husband are biologists. They moved to png 10 years ago to save some tree monkey.. built tree houses and were fighting a losing battle against local tribes. As time went by, they noticed local women walking for half a day to collect fresh water.. they then decided to get rain water tanks for the villigers. Now the villagers give them areas for tanks. It's like this amazing thing that's happening that's a pro benifit to both . This was what the whole documentary is about.. My brother in law had no idea his sister was doing anything like this, made him feel shit,as he had always called them hippies and although he loves them, realised he had never shown them the respect they deserved etc, lol.. and he finds out that David Attenbourgh is best friends with them, they spend a considerable ammount of time together. He actually asked them if he could spend his 90th birthday with his favourite people, and did, in a tree house in png. What a classic..
