Mel's ViparSpectra XS 2000 Sponsored Grow - Blueberry & Northern Lights

Zkittlez is droopy, I'm giving it an hour to wake up. If she's still droopy then I'll give her some water.
A couple of the clones could use a drink too.
I've added a couple of pics of the two Blueberry clones that are growing out of some issues.
The first one is reacting to her burned meristem as if I topped her, and the second one is reacting as if I had fimmed her.
I like them, messed up as they are.

Clones

You have them holding a nice block shape and I sure like that look.
Thanks Nev!

I'm thinking of trimming off some of the screwed up leaves on the lower parts of some of the clones.
Most or all of them will be going to my neighbour in the not to distant future. I just want to make sure they're all growing
well before they go to him.

Hey el Beardo :)

Looking good! Wish I could keep my tall streaks low and wide like that.
Thanks Tra!
I wish I could keep my plants as happy as you do!

Looking great Mel. :high-five:
Thanks GG!
How long have you been in veg now?
Well, the Blueberry sprouted December 8th, and the Zkittlez sprouted 6 days later.
So, 61 days for the BB, and 55 for the Zkittlez.
I'm planning to flip in another 7 days or do.

I forgot to mention earlier, I'm still planning on putting in a dowel or two for the Zkittlez, it's just been slipping my mind.
I'll try to get it done tomorrow afternoon right before I take pics.

I got the dowel in, but after the third time I dropped my phone I gave up trying to get pics of the process.
I put the dowel up against the stem resting on the rim of the pot.
I use the soft green gardening wire to wrap around the dowel and the branch near the stem, then move to the branch on the other side.
Alternating branches, I put in more wire strapping them to the dowel until I get near the end.

Zkittlez training

I hope that helps you visualize the process.

As long as those clones are rooted anything you take off will spur new growth up top!
Yes, they're all rooted. The last two cuttings have been disposed of. Neither had any trace of roots.
Leaves have been trimmed.

I'm a little suspicious of what I'm seeing on the Zkittlez, aside from her being thirsty.
I think maybe she's a little more sensitive to photoperiod changes...

That definitely helps me. I'm going to try this method my next grow when I start a photoperiod again.
I like it because it's more secure than other methods and I'm not futzing around with wires and bulldog clips. I forgot that I intended to start this type of training earlier using BBQ skewers since the dowels are too heavy for a young plant. I also don't have the second dowel on the upper node like I did this summer, but I don't think it'll be needed.
Thank you for the explanation Mel.
I'll draw it out a bit when I post the other drawings for you.
Nicely done on the tutorial Mel!

looks like trying to lay a trail through the jungle without a machete and a phone in hand.:laughtwo:
Thanks, sorry it wasn't as clear as I intended. I'm working on a few drawings to clarify some of the things I've tried to describe.
I'll be posting them in my off topic thread and dropping a link here.

I'd say that sucker is flowering!
Which gives me a bit of a dilemma!
Do I flip early, or do I continue to give them veg hours for another week and risk her going into reveg?
I'm leaning towards flipping them tomorrow.

This for sure.

What was the light timing difference?
They got two days in a row of 14 hours instead of 18. I was late turning the light on.
That was late January, the 28th I think, so 12 days ago.
Well, a week early isn't too bad. They're both big enough for a decent grow. Now I'll be watching the Blueberry's height through stretch, lol.
