Mechanic's Log: WW, AK-47, FFof Soil, Screw-In LEDs

@Backlipslide Or maybe I should have transplanted 6 days ago when they told me they were pissed. I thought we were over that up potting nonsense. I messed up not transplanting soon enough. I’m ok with that.

But thanks again for the input... :thumb:

Good looking transplant job, Mechanic!

As good as they're growing, I think about a month or so after you get them all transplanted you're going to have a problem, you're gonna need a bigger tent. :ganjamon::yummy:

WW#1- Round 2 Day 21/22

Hello everybody...

I had a long post written out but it got deleted somehow. So anyway here’s a summary. 4 ladies got transplanted into 5 gallon pots 5ish days ago. (75% FFOF and 25% FF Light Warrior and I added 1 TBSP of garden lime per gallon of soil. A handful of EWC was added to each 8 ish gallon batch of soil I mixed up...2 batches for 4 plants...)

I have one lady I left in a one gallon pot because I ran out of soil. She’s going in the veg/clone/mother tent aka my 2x2 tent.

I trimmed up all the ladies today and took a healthy amount of cones. I rigged up a clear tote to be my humidity chamber. (upside down due to opaque lid.)

I moved my 32”x32” tent to the left side of my closet do to the dynamics of my sliding mirror doors. And the 2x2 to the right side. Anyway, you’ll see. It’s much more functional.

Oh, also, I’m giving the 4 ladies 36hours of darkness starting ...”yesterday” 10-11-19 at 8pm”...

Heres some pics.

Highya Mechanic,

Very nice job with the humidity chamber and clones. You're learning a lot for sure! You're 5 gal ladies look like they'll get big and fat. Very nice job! Cheers

WW#1- Round 2 day #23

Hello community...

I have some pics of the ladies after their 36 hour stretch in the dark. Hopefully this little trick takes a couple days off the start of flower.

I didn’t take any pics of the clones yet. I’ll do that later.

Here are the 4 ladies.

I did the 36 hours in the dark, going into flower. I didn’t find them switching to flower any faster then normal. If anything I found it take longer to switch, I’m glad I tried it though, they did start stretching pretty hard after the light was turned back on.

That’s interesting @Backlipslide
I’m glad I’m doing it now, I’ve heard of people saying it helps them switch faster but, I have never seen any actual results. And now I’m surprised I’m hearing someone say it might have slowed down the start of flower for them. That makes this a little more fun. If this slows down my ladies maybe I can account it to the dark period.... or, honestly, I trimmed the hell out of these ladies right before the dark period so maybe that stress alone will slow them down. Anyway, I’m just excited to be starting the flower mode again.

It seemed like a solid 7 days before I started to see pistils clearly. In my past grows, it’s been 3-5 days. Idk it just seemed like it triggered flower really slow.

they were also yellow blotches through the tops of my plants. It was weird, scared the shit out of me. Once the light was on, it seemed like they started stretching immediately. It was interesting to say the least.

Here’s the mother/clone/veg tent.

The “mother” plant received a new home today.

I’m going to loose a few clones for sure in the 1 gallon ice cream tub. I made the holes too big in the rooting plugs before inserting the cuttings.

The better looking clones, in the black bowl, I just left the rooting plugs alone and inserted the cuttings into the supplied hole, after a good dip in rooting hormone.

Here’s some pics.

WW#1- Round 2 Day #26

Hello everybody...

The ladies are stretching and lookin pretty happy. I believe today is the third day of the 12/12 light schedule after the 36 hour darkness period.

The clones and mother plant are looking good under 24 hours of light.

I took these pics yesterday. I didn’t take any of the clones or mother. I will later today.

So I went back a few pages and re-read your journal. Just before you transplanted them into 5 gallon pots, they were looking kinda sad. Your plants have really done well since you transplanted them. :thumb:
This looks like it's going to be a good bunch of plants and I'm hoping you get a great harvest. :yummy:

They finally look happy again! That makes me happy!! :thumb:

And that makes me happy @Backlipslide haha

Thank you. Yes they were so sad looking, haha. They did turn around pretty quickly, I think the Epsom salts actually helped, and of course, along with the fresh soil. Can’t wait to see how they end up.

WW#1- Round 2 Day #29

Quick update. I see pistils on 3 of the 4 ladies for sure. You’ll see a close up of the 4th lady and I swear I see the first pistil but can’t confirm for sure. So I have to get a date for the official start of flowering time since I gave the ladies 36 hours of darkness. Almost forgot to mention I accidentally topped a branch on the widow in the back left corner.(super cropping accident) And I super cropped the widow in the back right

The 10 clones in the black bowl all rooted. None of the clones in the ice cream tub rooted, my fault, I never should have molested the rooting plugs like I did. Anyway I moved the rooted clones to 5oz cups, normally I would go to solo cups after they had more roots in the plugs but I’m trying something different this time.

So here’s some pics.
