Hmmmm I see what ur saying sir mcloadie
I understand ur frustration and I think your fabulous sir I do but......
I would slightly disagree
Obviously part time workers
Earn less than full time
Maybe have a smaller pension
Maybe there are things that they do not qualify for
But that said.... If we're a "part time fire fighter" and I happened to be killed battling a fire alongside my "full time firefighter buddies"
I would hope that my wife and children would get the same compensation package of the full time fire fighters family.
It's exeptional circumstances I no but I would think the price they put on a life lost in service should be equal
I really hope our difference of opinions doesn't affect our blood brotha bond that is the 1HC FTW KC
That said though if when they signed up they were told if u die at work ur family will recieve "£££" which is "£££" much less than a full time worker.... And agreed on that. Then the part timers family's must deal with that
Yeah, they knew what their bennies would be when they signed up, they should have had a backup plan. Here's the part that is pissin me off as we get more info; they have been workin 40 hours for days! If they were working full time I think they should have been designated full time.....I think that employers will "drag ass" so to speak about getting them on as full time to avoid having to put out extra $ for their insurance and other benefits. The public has donated millions to all those families....I'm sure they'll be fine. The main wife that's complaining quit her job when her husband started working full time, well he was working full time...seasonally.....not a designated full time employee.........IDK how they were doin it with four kids............and no insurance?
