McLoadie's Third Grow Journal

I just flushed the crap out of the plants (mothers) under the t5, then gave em half a dose of triple sixteen........I need to get the purple kush healthy and get some cuts running soon. Anyone interested in seeing me take some cuts and load the cloner?, if not I'll just do it, it's pretty simple, but I'll be glad to document it if anyone would like.
:)

me!!! me!!! pick me!!! I want to see!!!
Me Too:)

It would be like a perpetual cycle: McLoadie hurts back putting pots in tub, Needs to smoke herb to make back feel better.... and on and on :)

I add 3 tbsp. of garden lime to 4 gallons of FFOF. I also top dressed the soil after transplant with another 1/2 tbsp. for a 1 gallon pot.
you know:)

No, but I have thought about adding dolomite, even being organic, the soil maker says to flush once. I don't think organic would ever need to be flushed? Yeah, could you imagine putting those pots in the tub....LOL, I am gonna veg em as long as I can and hopefully get some nice bushes.

I was thinking about what you said. But nature is organic and mother nature flushes ever time it rains.

Almost perfect conditions.........this is the first time they've been this good in a long time, trust me, as the day wears on this condition will deteriorate.

I hope some day the feeling goes away that tells me I could get more, and better weed with less effort

I put together a diy co2 generator, a 2 litre one. It's going right now, I know it's not much, but any augmentation is positive!

Nice! hey where did you find that little cow at? I bet a few dozen of those on the BBq would stomp the poop out of chicken wings:)

:)

Good weed McLoadie!

Well, everything's in paper bags, and the beginning of the cure has started. As disaapointing as they are....her are he numbers:

Afghan Kush- 42G
Purple Kush- 52G
Tahoe OG-43G
Mexikush B3- 34G
Mexikush B10- 33G
Yeti- 45G
For a total of 239G, that's .229 G per watt.......terrible.....last run was .8 something...........quality is excellent.
The only thing that killed this grow was the fact that I couldn't get the plants to respond after they started dying.......too early in flower....next time
I'M going to continue with this same journal to document the current run, I'm not going to try so hard this time, I'll try to do better! Thanks for everyones help and positivity...............I am grateful for your input. If I was near I would kick you an oz. fishy, you are helpful and always positive..........................Thank- You!

Thoughts on the hps light; I think the induction is more suited to my grow space, and as you can see, there is no huge significant difference in weights. I have had way bigger yields with the induction, with every light type there is a certain degree of learning that needs to take place, and it looks like I'm not doing it too quickly. I'm going to stick with my densest strains, and go from there............next run.....15 purple kush clones in 2 gallon pots............organic!

Reps on your harvest

The heat's a bi*ch, Mcloadie. But the nugs are purdy!

What do you think of the bud-washing, now that you've had a good chance to compare?

I like it, the weed is just plain cleaner, taste is more pronounced.........I really don't get good smells for a coupla weeks minimum, besides the smell of green ass weed!...LOL. The heat is a little better with the hps outta there, and the rH is just right for veggin! I could lay all the buds out and take some pics, but I hope to get some closeups when we get a little cure goin on.

you should start new journal just because you have 94 pages hahaha makes it easier to keep up ; P

i wonder what is giving you such trouble with your yield : / seems like you have done it with same equipment for a minute idk seeing i took most of my tips and learning from you!

Cant wait to see what you do when you focus on 2 plants ; )

Heat damages a lot! The degrees you mentioned were just as insane as mine. Nothing can really help above 90F but stable co2 supply i think. I had heat issues last grow, and on warm days i had to keep the 400W lights like 20" far from the girls which really killed its penetration. Now with the heat out of question even 6" was fine for them - no burn, no stunt.

I hope when you start smoking the harvest you will feel better about it. I can't see your harvest bad as you do anyway. I made maybe 10-20g more off per plant and so happy about it anyway - and your results are actually better if we consider organics and no co2 effects.
But to be honest i'd be happy with 100g dried as well. Just let it be a nice smoke and last till next harvest :)
Maybe you have higher expectations though... but still it looks great! Whish i could taste it =(

With journal you should wait to get in the 100 pages club founded by alex and rico anyway :) :)

I'm going to veg and see if I can keep these alive long enough to make some mini trees, I have no real time issues this run, it will give me more time to get the next run ready.....the mom looks like crap........I gotta get her better before I take cuts....Thanks J!
