McLoadie's Third Grow Journal

I think that there is a huge margin for error.....if your plants are healthy....it's the best you can do.....I put stuff in my pots that blew my buds up huge..........but the flavor quality suffered. The best weed I ever grew was with the organic dr earth system, a happy medium between yield and quality......without the quality flavors I will never be happy....no matter how stony or quantity my harvest is. I just checked and I have 8 strains idling, I just wish I had 10 1k hps lights and all the support equipment to run em, I would grow those low yielding strains and close my eyes, but I have patients who aren't as pick as me, and can't afford the top shelf products. I get 500$ an oz. donation for my top shelf meds...or I will burn it myself! I like my personal weed to be around 20% thc, and definitely indica, the strong sativas go to the meds I make.....I just don't like to be that high.

shoot I wanna be so High I can hunt ducks with a rake!:)

Road king, yeah, my first hog, I mostly rode disposable bikes as they were very likely to be disposed of at a moments notice....I have had two bikes in my life that were registered to me....LOL, I cannot even remember all the ones I dumped....LOL.....dime a dozen.....they just kept givin em to me, I'd ride em til the registration expired....or there was an incident....and another one would be available. I would love to have a really fast street glide...man those are sexy bikes!

Have you seen the new Breakout ????

IDK what's goin on with the deficiencies and such but we have rapid growth!, first time since they went to 12/12! I broke down and hit em with a full dose of calmag yesterday.....the strings that were being used for lst are now unhooked off the plant stand legs and then up to the light and now are supporting the buds, I do this when I notice slack in the strings that are holding the branches down. We are at almost 30 days since the flip, but by far I get the most growth in the second half of flowering. The flowers are growing so rapidly today that I can see the difference. This bunch is going to yield and I'm contemplating my next run already, I'm getting the moms healthy and loaded with N so the cuts get taxed less during the cloning period. I won't be using the hps next run, it has the most irritating sound and light, it may yield slightly more than the induction, and do it a little faster..........we will compare as we go, but it does have more flowers....but I'm running different strains and they got a head start directly under it. I would use hps if I had a separate grow facility that wasn't in my bedroom, I would use all 1k's with umbrella reflectors AND bare bulbs for side light.

Kinda sounds Like my old 72 pinto wagon:)
It's got 110 cu.in. engine a big fat rear tire and the front end is raked a little more it's the same frame as the softail. They have two versions the CVO and the softail.
I don't think it's good for long trips but it's pretty hot for crusin' around town. :peace:

Good morning fishy.......everything is suspect now, I thought they were overwatered and they wilted waitin to dry out...LOL. It's all good, I'll just hang on and try to learn something. I am tempted to flush but the plants wouldn't fare well being moved around, if the buds get too much contact it seems to stunt the heck out of em.

maybe a manganese diff.

I gave em a shot of micronutrients a while back, I have some triple 3 that has em all in it. Next watering I'll put some in, they got the last dose of beastie bloom this morning and cha ching is next. I always trip on whether the buds are gonna swell and they always do....LOL.....I should be 4-6 weeks out right now........plenty of bud growth time.

You know fishy, these plants may be root bound and that's why they aren't responding normally, when I tried to check to see how wet they were I hit a solid root mass across the whole top of the pot. I have been giving em that sns 604 a and b at appropriate times and maybe I just had an accelerated root growth. I don't really care or these kind of pots, I was always taught that air pruning of roots was bad, I mean when you think about it; roots always dying off as they reach a zone they can't live in at the exterior of the pots. I have a notion to run two plants in ten gallon pots next run. That would give me enough room to do a scrog too.

Looks so much like K def.. maybe just the lockout from the too much water? Or simply K hungry?
Also too much Ca can hinder K uptake. might be your prev water as well!

Hope you can fix her quick!

I love this link - no pics, but nice and clear descriptions...
Action Mode, Deficiency & Toxicity of the 17 Essential Nutrients

Everything is in the soil...it's lockout......and IDK why!

If everything is in the soil... Most likely the PH is off and prohibiting the uptake of nutrients. Flush... let it dry out some... flush again. Check PH and then... probably only need to water for a week after that. Recheck the PH and maybe hit it with some 1/2 strength Flower nutes.

If you can't get it figured out... just continue on. She will finish with less leaves than the others but that's not always a bad thing :)

Some of the plants don't look so good, but the buds are growing like crazy. I checked my darktime temps and they were at like 86 F max, this temp doesn't concern me much, I am a little concerned with 61%Rh in the darkness. It's funny how well I have got plants to grow before I even had meters to tell me how jacked up my environment was at times. I still have some negative looking things happening, I cut the R/O water, and went back to regular applicatons of minimal doses of calmag. Tomorrows issue will have a pretty hard dose of triple 3 and a minimal dose of calmag in tap water. The triple three is how I get micro nutrients to the soil.
