McLoadie's Third Grow Journal

They look lovely, Mc :thumb:

What do you mean by "growers strain"?

It was developed by a grower....and passed on to me....through another grower. This is interesting rico, and brings me to a subject I've been wanting to comment on recently due to some events I've been witnessing and advising on. So....for example; Richard Cranium goes on the net and orders some seeds, he grows these seeds, and takes cuts, crosses the plants with other cultivars he deems worthy and creates a new line of genetics. Now I say new because it IS new......no other person on this planet has it.....it's been acclimated through generations to suit Richards geographic location, environment ect.. Richard takes this line and gives it to me, or sells it or whatever. I would hope that either Richard gives it to growers who appreciate his effort and work, or sells it for a shitload of cash. Richard has spent countless hours and monies to IMPROVE what he started with and created. Richard is a bad ass, he loves what he does, he contributes to the cause, he is working to improve and create strains. When someone gives me something, I know they are gifting me, they are entrusting me with something very dear to them......the same way I do when I gift genetics. BTW......update on the mexikush; the genetics that went to the northern corner of the triangle were lost when the grower went on vacation after spring planting....so I'm told. However, when I arrived in cali I was led to the grow and taken to the mexikush. The mexikush, entrusted to the master grower is a medium tall plant, it was only around 5 or 6 feet tall. It grows medium large colas, that are purple as purple. The colas were very dense, and of the two females that made it to harvest they had maybe 4 or 5 pounds each. It is a super indica dominant plant. I never got to smoke even a joint of it, it was trimmed, dried and disappeared......stashed away....LOL. I am super happy with the result and I am glad to be holding the only 200 seeds of it in the world. I'm going to grow a male mexikush and breed it with a ch9 x pow33....the ony seed that one of my production plants produced. In 2013 I produced only two seeds...and if they are viable...they are surely female. I also procured some OG kush seeds in cali.....gifted to me from the plans I was harvesting, these are giants, 8 - 10 feet tall, and the same width. They get topped once and the branches start at the ground. Some of the trunks on these plants were as big as my leg! It would take a farm tractor to pull them out of the ground!

Welcome back mcloadie. Hope the new place brings peace and no conflicts. That darn fish posted a few pix and fell off the planet again lol.

Thanks wildbill, yeah....I don't need any conflict, its counter productive, but at times it seems necessary. I have been wondering about the fish man, did he ever get moved?, I gotta pray for him a lot, I can only imagine that something's not exactly right with him.

I didn't see your induction light in the pix, did you retire it lol.

it's my new veg light...LOL, I'm getting ready to build my veg space next, my rotation is out of whack again...............but a great friend has genetic care package started for me. As soon as I figure out how to explain I'll go into detail, there are a bunch of good folks here on 420, they are taking care of me with all my recent drama.
