McLoadie's Third Grow Journal

Mc, You taught me about balance.

Fishy, You taught me to do as little as possible (and check expiry dates)

We have to replace what nature does.

In the wild, an animal will eat that bud, because of the extra protein.

The rest of the plant will become stronger for it.

We have to become that animal.

We have to eat that bud :xmas:

That is one option rico, on another note, it's getting to be time to transplant the cuts and get the bonsai training started. I have never named a plant per se, but this bonsai will be called "ricosan". BTW.....pronounced bawn sy.....is what you say when you direct your aircraft at a vessel to inflict damage., on the other hand, bone sy interpreted means"garden in a pot"......just fyi!

I always say it Bone-sai :)

I reserve the bawn pronunciation for the popular plant food Brawndo.

It kills weeds and feeds plants at the same time!

Who woulda thought it, eh???

Something to do with electro-lights.

I never hope to have to,

but now I know for sure,

that, if it ever came to it,

I would be able to tell the difference between a Japanese gentleman growing a small beautiful plant

and an aeroplane shooting at a container, trying to damage it. :xmas:

Thank you for the name, I feel Honoured :)

I aint keen on the BT stuff as that is what they use in genetically modified corn and other veggies then again I am not keen on any insecticide. the Pirate spray was recommended by a hot older girl at the nursery I frequent. they are all organic there:)

while watering is considered an entry level position (upper entry level), it is the most important position...imho. If you do your job brokey.......hell yes you're a partner....and you get a full share. You are my eyes and ears, you will spend more time on the ground than any one involved, you will know the plants more, you will notice very detail, and give accurate reports on conditions present in the patch. You are the first line of defense, you're watching the area while you're there......you usually live there.......looking for pirates and other unwelcome visitors..............
ahh man! Free room & board, i can play vinny vega "i would of given anything to catch that pirate asshole doing it. It would of been worth him doing it just so i could of caught him. I mean don't f---k with another man's cannabis" & I ALREADY watch my little 2 plants 1/2 of the time Im home. On top of all that I become partner! I'm leaving tonight!!!

Good morning MC It's Sativaday and you are kicking ass. Hope your day goes good and you get things under control. BUGS dam them

Coupla things, my damn old dog is MIA, I inherited the dog to begin with, and rumor has it that it was 24 years old........it was mostly wolf, not a real personable animal....but we still love her. Loadie had to bring her in from rainstorms a coupla times recently....or she would have perished then. I'm guessing we just prolonged the inevitable....and she has wandered off to the elephant graveyard. We looked for her for hours yesterday, and seeing as it rains often, we had good tracking conditions.....not a trace. We are wondering if she got a little too close to the edge of the property and something grabbed her.

Mac I'm sorry to steer your conversation about eating buds in a differearnt direction. I thought I read about you telling Harley about getting your bike maintained, and it reminded me of a story I haven't shared in years. Back in 1988 at the ripe old age of 20 I had just graduated USN Rescue Swimmer School and was stationed in San Diego for door gunner school on the SH-60 Helo's. Well with my bravado of "Saro others may live" had 4 rescues under my belt already, I was invincible. So with just the experience as a child on a little RM50 I went and bought a shiny new 1989 Ninja 2000. Of course I had to by the best matching leather and helmet. Nothing in the next year and a half, from Bering Sea Rescues to South Pacific rescues to downed fighter pilot rescues prepared me for the fact that I wasn't invincible. I was traveling the speed limit, which was odd that day, I had a green light, and a semi blew the red from the left. I only had seconds to react , but all I could do was lay the bike down and hope to clear his back tires. Needless to say I cleared them and came out the other end with some road rash that could have been worse if I hadn't bought those fancy leathers. The bike was totaled, I was jailed for assaulting the truck driver, but I did learn an interesting fact later that week, on the San Diego base alone their were 34 deaths in 8 months from those who had owned ninja's like myself. Never road a bike again. okay back to regular scheduled programming!

Riding is a HUGE responsibility!, it's kinda like combat, but the weapons and tactics are different. My dad was fire and rescue in the states and asia......had a few lucky pilots under his belt too!....thanks!

sorry Mc I had a old friend of 16 years and I know he wandered off one day to go home.
got a tear in my eye now:(

Mac, I just caught your story about your dog, I'm sorry to hear that. As a dog owner myself I know the bonds are extremely strong. Last night in the rain that little seak Gracy raced out,he door before i knew she was there...very fast dogs those Karelian bear dogs. Anyway 3 hours later I found her chasing 2 moose cows and their calves around. A better ending, I'm sorry, but the anxiousness never disappears. I'm always watchful, she my only family. So again my condolences go out to you Mac and you family on your missing dog. I won't say gone, cuz I still have hope for you.

Thanks SH, it's really odd...no tracks or sign of a struggle..............

Is the wildlife out there really that bad, they'll take your pets, even a half wolf?

I'm sure you have looked really close to the house. Sorry to hear this. Losing a close friend is always hard.
