Mcloadie's Second Grow Journal

That's fucking awesome MC. What a great father-son moment. Doesn't get any better than that.

I can't top that, but here's a little story your's reminded me of.

When I was teen, I lived a block from the beach in CT. I used to skinny dip there at night. When I was lucky there was a girl with me. Well, one lucky night, wading out in chest high water, we see this bluefish outlined in phosphorescence with a gaping, teeth-filled mouth cruise past us waist high. Needless to say, we hightailed it out of there real fast. Kind of put a damper on the mood too.

Ya, when those things frenzy they bite anything!Glad you booked....LOLOL

Big girls got water and molasses today as I've been poundin em with nutes. Teenagers come out today, I will apply the nutes to the soil, and tomorrow they'll get watered. It seems funny, no one else uses these nutes.....they kick ass! Simple to use, hard to screw up, guaranteed to attain maximum plant potential, both yeild and potency, when ya follow the instructions....LOL A trip to the nursery for air layering supplies and nutes, I wouldn't even do this demonstration probly if it weren't for the fact that I have a corn plant that I plan on layering. At some point I plan on doing some grafting as well, I plan on gifting a multi strain plant to a close freind. I need to order a knife and some tree seal to complete my list of supplies for the task. All of these techniques simply rely on applying fundamental techniques, trust me, if mcloadie can do it, you all will certainly succeed!

Mc you metioned grafting, are you gonna try to
create and multi-strain mj plant? (w/o the breeding)
If you try and pull it off I wanna see it. I heard of people
doing grafting yrs ago. I never seen any finished plants though.

Multi strain, each carefully trained branch a different strain. I've seen it done with fruit trees, which is exactly how I see the cannabis.

I'll be watching your attempt at it. A few years ago I did it with a tomato plant.
A good way to make huge clones ready to bloom. Not really practical if you are wanting lots of clones.

Seems like it takes a while to me too, if we are environmental farmers and horticulturist it's all relevant!........and fun! My first grafts were on tomato plants, they will grow like crazy, but it seemed like they never really hooked up....you know...really bonded with the adoptive subject. I'm sure it will at least provoke some interesting discussion, annual plants aren't the most common subjects for grafting, alot of factors will be considered in this venture, I'm planning how to best present this demonstration to stimulate participation and discussion.

Maaaaan you have a rager of a journal going here buddy...I'm not going to lie to you, I won't have time to catch up on a 10+page/week journal...But I can say that I've gone through and skimmed a bit, and can say you have some exceptionally lovely plants. Very healthy, and the flowers look tasty too:bravo:
Good growing there friend, keep up the good work:Namaste:

Sounds way cool! Do the individual branches of fruits/flowers retain their own individual characteristics, or do they produce a hybrid mix with the host plant?

no I believe they just become more or less parasitic just using the host as the food and water giver:)

From what I remember, fruits have a muted taste compared with being grown on their original rootstock. Idk how this happens, but they are more of a " novelty", and a stage to show off our horticultural skills. I wish to gift it as a show of my appreciation and admiration to the person that's gettin it. I wish I could show my appreciation in that way to ALL my mentors, but that would be impossible, Ive been hosted and passed around by so many quality people, that I just hope to make an honest show with how I live my life, and how much I can give.

I think the best way to pay back your mentors is to be successful, not to give until it hurts. If you know what I mean.

Bro, many years ago I prayed for God to give the heart of a servant, I wore my life completely out at the young age of 21, I was afraid of my own self, I gave it to God cuz it wasn't gonna last much longer if I had my way. After a long period of transformation ( which is still goin on) I began to change, my mentors began showing up in my life and I began to be able to live with myself, and stop running away by immersing myself in unhealthy activities. I know about giving til it hurts, and I'll keep trying to live up to my GOD given potential...at all costs, and honoring those who have invested so much time and energy in my upbringing.

thanks for the Reps Mc:)
hard to believe sometimes when I have something intelligent to say:thedoubletake::clown::hmmm::goof::trance::blalol::loopy::rofl:

I found this MC, but I think you already know what your doing.

Those are wedge grafts my freind, when I demonstrate, I would like to decide together which kind of grafting method would best suit the cannabis. What he did WILL work, and may be the best method for the weed, We can try two or three different ones, then see the results. He placed emphasis on a coupla things that may be particular to the weed, but we can find out for ourselves! Thanks for the effort bro! + reps to you! After some reveiw I stand corrected, that is a modified cleft graft....back to the books.

Things are always lookin up!
