Mcloadie's Second Grow Journal

my wife and I met at Mardi Gras N.O. style and all I can say is the shrimp, oysters, crawfish and crabs were a staple for us
down to the piers and it was nothing for us to get 25 or 50Lbs of the above and I was only making $5.00 an hour building houses

your getting all mushie on me Mc:) but I have to say Ditto:)

I'm a hopeless romantic fishy, and an artist, that's probly what makes me so weird...LOL. Its gettin close to wed, and it looks like my first address is gonna be to around 600 combat veterans. A little of this and a little of that, a prayer for safety, next group, 1000. I love to do this, but I'm afraid ths may be the last one. From where I live you can't even see the poverty level, and I need to be able to provide for loadie and help the kids if they need it. When I was unable to work I was makin 80,000+, 2 years at 24,000, and now social security, and if johnny law wants to fuck me over my plight........fuck him!:high-five:

Blah, blah, blah....LOL...Not much to report, breaks have recovered sufficiently to move the plants, so I pulled em all out and did a fairly insignificant defol on some inner leaves that were just....outa place. The canopy is within 4 inches of level ( with the exception of plants that are different ages, ensuring me perpetualness:peace:), and only a coupla girls are misbehavin slightly and will have to be taught to posture through breaking. I would rather stop the breaking now, as I don't want the plants to expand much more horizontally. The shapes are starting to form, nothing so far I would do different. They are ready for their second dose of bloom food, I'm contemplating between another abbreviated dose, Or just hammer em. They'll be dry in another day, at that time I'll evaluate their overall health and decide how hard I hit em. Have a nice day folks:Love:

The photo is a little deceptive, I assure you....that canopy is even as hell, aside from overall health, IMHO, it is the second most important factor in an indoor growing environment. This factor sets the stage for even growth and flower production. I am still deciding what is the best way to utilize this light, it hasn't let me down, and any deficiency is certainly that of this grower.

I got in and did a few breaks, all the youngest girls are showing sex at like 5 and 1/2 days, no male was involved in the breeding so i'm sure that they're all girls. Now comes the vigilant watch for herms. On a brighter note, ten of my seeds went to the triangle, to a very reputable legal grower. They wanted to buy them, but I gave them as a sample to try, and if and when they're ready for more....well. I am honored, and have done my best to produce the best quality I can. You guys all contributed, so let's cross our fingers and hope for the best. When it's all said and done, around a thousand dollars goes into growing each of these monsters. That's 16 total now......look what you boys done!:thanks:

I seen em budbud tootsies :) and it looked like some kind of religious druid triangle you got there
:ganjamon: a stoned hedge!

1970, white horse beach on the cape, a favorite spot, my dad has a GIANT blue rebel on his line and is casting in the surf. I am totally embarrased cuz of the sheer size of that lure, it looked like a joke. Well, you can guess what happens, I look over, he's hooked up, I look into the surf and here is a 48" striper completely illuminated running down the surf IN the wave, backlit by the rising sun. My dad never embarrassed me again....49 LBS!

That's fucking awesome MC. What a great father-son moment. Doesn't get any better than that.

I can't top that, but here's a little story your's reminded me of.

When I was teen, I lived a block from the beach in CT. I used to skinny dip there at night. When I was lucky there was a girl with me. Well, one lucky night, wading out in chest high water, we see this bluefish outlined in phosphorescence with a gaping, teeth-filled mouth cruise past us waist high. Needless to say, we hightailed it out of there real fast. Kind of put a damper on the mood too.

We used to go down near woods hole and wait for the tiny boats to come in, dad would buy whatever they had, and mostly everything they had......you know, from like one guy or boat. Mom and dad weren't wealthy by any means, but us kids never knew the difference.

Not with 49lbs of Bass in the freezer, you wouldn't. :laughtwo:
