MassMedMan's Greenhouse

Chicken shit is the hottest (highest-N) shit around. Be careful if you're using it this year. I'd either top-dress, or prep for next year.

Hey MMM,
DP said you know about PVC. I've had an idea percolating around in my head for a mini-scrog for 5gal buckets. Any tips on bending and curving 1"? Simplicity, sturdiness and economy via bio-mimicry.
Your garden looks great. How wide are your beds?
Positive vibes

I need to know where these seeds that require deep pockets are. I'll fork out for some for next year to be prepared!!!!

Also I'm gonna take two videos one of my greenhouse and one of vegetable garden today. I'll be posting here since I have no off topic thread and mass is my buddy

Would you like some pumpkin seed? I have:

Weston: 1320 lbs.; 1150; 1072; 982; 924; 921; 662; and 568. Each packet has pedigree on it so these have the proven genetics for a big one. At least Big to me. To spring for the REALLY BIG ones you have to dig real deep in your pockets. Send me a PM and I will give you a list of the seed I have. I have tons. Sorry, no medical mj seed though. That has to be found/dug up from where they were buried/stored/hidden over 20 years ago.

Holy crap I just looked up those seeds... I have some or a packet I got from the local supply store,, but what you have might be more proven, or is? PM coming. I've got a lot of work into the hole for this year.. May as well get the best seeds. Thank you Rudy :-)

For the SCROG frame I used elbows from hd. Nothing fancy, i had a few ideas but I never acted on it. Good tip on the chicken shit. I've topped dressed mostly....

I'll do a video on the garden, outside, later today. Beds are about three wide, ten inches high, thirty feet long. That is the front. Back area where all the creepy crawly stuff goes is not raised and random. Video later I'll stay outside... good talking to you, Ranger. Have an Airborne Day!

You were busy also...me too. Here is a garden tour, all outside. All non-420 growing.

Thx, Brother. My idea is a little different and requires curves. Have you ever tried curving a piece? Did the new shape stay? I'm thinking heat might work straight into a mold/jig to retain curve. Heat and plastic is always a crapshoot. Maybe steam-bent lath would be better.
Oops. Wandering a bit there. Profoundly elevated.
Gratitude

WOW - You and Dutty (can I call him DP?) have got it going in the gardens. REPs to the both of you and I am humbled. I've been doing this for some time now and you both have the drive, desire and will to make it happen in the garden. I'm a results oriented type person and yah, I cant wait to see whats coming this summer! Keep up the good work guys and good luck with your pumpkins - that's how you get the next gen going in the garden. Another REPs to you for that 110%.

MM glad to hear you head over to the local recycle (you called it the dump??) for horse manure, turnin poop to gold/food/meds there, good on ya mate.

Canna garden looks very nice MM you're off to a GREAT start, 24 days @ 20+ inches showing pre-flowers! Watch out for the males, they try and look like fems for a few weeks... I like that outdoor grow with extra lighting, that''s gotta be dream setup there, best of both worlds.

Good luck MM and Dutty - Glad to see you're keepin' it green.

Cheers

Thanks vegetable gardening is new to me. First year besides a 8' tall tomato plant and some peppers like 5 years ago.
I'm just following massmedman and ranger and doing what they recommend.
Hey Bob your hobbies say tube builds. So amps? You a musician? Or maybe is it a job you repair them? Or was it like military training for audio. No need to answer I just own a recording studio and own a ton of gear.

Nicely done Dutty. Your penchant for clean and organized shines through. :thumb:

Thanks. Now that ducks are in with goats by garden till I build there house. Eventually they will be in garden and chicken goat area at nights. I'll be able to clean greenhouse out today and make it real clean and while we are on the boat I'll let it air out.
Here's some photos while out in the San Juan islands last Saturday and Sunday today we are gonna skirt the us Canada border.

If you see any Canadian Geese run them over. .

Crushed eggshells for blossom end rot prevention. Six months worth of them which is free calcium for my tomatoes.

I used to use calcium nitrate,, not any longer. ;)

I cannot answer your PM because I do not have 50 posts But I can still read them.. I will send you 4 packets with 2 seeds in each one. My contribution to you and the kids to attempt a BIG one.
