Mars II 1600! Super Monster Scrog Pounder

Hey man love your vids. im about 2.5 seconds away from buying one of these 1600w i just had one question about the fans. i sleep in the same room as my grow. just wondering how loud they are?!?!

the fans on the mars 2 1600 are not loud, id compare it to a hyped up computer tower (maybe a 90's tower ;P) ha. its not silent by any means, but i cant hear it over my 4" blower that i have set on 50% right now. however, you dont want any light hitting your plant when you go into 12/12 so you may want to make a small box or room for it. Also a 1600 is a lil over kill unless you plan to have 4+ plants or doing a SoG style. possibly recommend you to try a 900 or 1200?

Edit : most of us have boxs or rooms for our gardens so we can control the environment that much easier then a room 10x its size.

Sorry I haven't stopped by in a while CO, I've been really swamped with a whole lot of bs. Dad went to jail, had to bend over backwards to get him out, lots of drama about my grow, life calling, etc...

1600 would give you the best yield by far and you will save money in electric bill when in veg mode. I like to have the extra bloom switch so while I am in veg I run less power and heat then a week before flower time i put bloom on and by the time I flip to 12/12 plants start stretch right away witch in turn adds more time for fatter buds..

The light is a full spectrum light,so yes. The bloom switch is a red spectrum boost of lights.

I've got one and the fans are not noisy at all. For me it would be very easy to get used to and would probably be soothing....

Hey CoFinest, Great video updates! was watching your 'checking my nugs' video and heard you mention a glare from the white plate. i take a ton of pictures for our shop that goes to our website and i have found that using a black background lets the camera focus completely on the nug, the owner was actually shocked when he seen the pictures i was taking said it was "high times" quality. just thought i would mention this to see if it helps, seems like most photographers always have a black drop when focusing on jewelry and gems/rocks as well.

i also heard you say that the thc, cbd, cbn, ect are in the resin glands, and just recently found a member here on 420mag that test's their leaves and has found that his leaves have .8 thc and 1.4 cbd (i believe the numbers were) cant recall the strains. but i myself just found out when i created my juicing the plant for her cbds thread that the plant actually has cbds and thc through it entirely. pretty cool i thought, all but the roots are beneficial i believe. possibly even the roots ?

fresh are best from what ive found. has a stronger earthy bitter taste then dried leaf matter but has the fresh terpes. just make sure there is no moldy leaf going in, and try to keep any burnt, crippled leafs out if any.

What would you say that the Mars 1600 is compared to in watts of an HID?
Too early to say?
Myself I got 2 pcs of 900w Mars, but I've never ran anything high in HID, only 250w so cant say i got anything to compare with.

Ok I am one week away from harvest. Here is some of the pic I just took tonight. Girls are just about ready to hit the dry racks..
Well Lets start with the veg room. The girls are doing great after trimming and some of the clones that were took for the clone off video STILL in the solo cups lmao and still growing.

Here is the clones from the clone off I am using in the start to finish series. They will be needing new flower lights very soon.

Now on to the mothers and three will be going into flower next very soon to make them nugs..
