What kind of guitar do you have there? I have an Alvarez with a dark spruce top like that. :peace:

I've moved my current grow over to my new Mars II 700. Dropped a few degrees from the previous 300W with CFLs setup, and it's much brighter, according to the lux meter. And definitely a more balanced spectrum lineup. Almost white compared to my other one. It's also quieter than the other one.

Will harvest this and then on to some known genetics with the Mars II all the way through. Exciting to have a better light, especially after how well the previous one was doing.

At about 12-14 inches I get 16,000. My lowest bud gets about 6,000, probably at 25-28 inches. I'll be doing an all Mars II grow and will be listing as much technical data as possible once my beans leave JFK.

Thanks for recommending the Sun Series when I was looking to make my first LED purchase.

If I remember correctly you told me "Get the Sun Series. You will not regret it.".
I must say that you were right. No regrets at all. I love my Sun Series LED's!

So, since Smoke Sara told me that a Mars II 400W is good for a 3' by 3' at 24" height, then how many plants can one grow on such area.

Would work great. Iv got a single 1200 in my 120x120. I added a 700 but with it being summer here it got to hot. If your in a hot climate u may struggle with 2x1200s without AC il be running both my lights in winter half of the year. I'd guess my 1200 gives as much ambient heat as 400hps reflector or a 600hps cooltube
 
I'm an Led experimenter and never used HIDs but I bet the HPS 600 is more hotter Lol cuz its less efficient and alot of the input power goes to heat the room for ya.
 
I have 5 of those 1200w and I have used hps for years in all power sizes , imho I feel that the heat of the 1200w is about equal to a 400w hps .
We run 1-1200w in a 4x4 tent and 3 in a 4x8 tent the other one will be going in another 4x4 , tried putting 2 of the 1200w in a 4x4 , but it got to hot and seemed too much anyway , better to buy another tent and grow more :)
