Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Ok everyone I got a question. I have to change my grow area from a 4x4x6.5 to a 4x2x6.5 area. I have already bought a 8 bucket DWC system for the 4x4 area. I am going to be purchasing the 1200w mars 2. Will this new space be too small for the 8 plant system?

I would think so!! 8 pots in an 8 square foot area is asking a lot. I suppose the problem is that you've bought them now, so if they fit in the spaceyou might as well try them.

Also, don't you think a 1200w is a bit much?

Personally i'm running 4 x 5 gallon pots in a 5 x 5 x 7 tent. I don't believe that more pots equals more yield. I'd rather have 4 high yield plants, but that's just my personal preference.

In terms of lights, i'm still working out what setup of Mars 2's to get. 1 x 1200w, or 4 x 400w, but pretty sure i'm going to get 4 x 400w, one for each plant basically.

I got the 1200 because later on I will have a bigger space. Plus I don't think you can have too much light. Yea already having the system is the issue. But if it's going to be counterproductive I will sell it an get something more beneficial. I'm just not sure how many I can grow in that space without limiting the plants growth due to lack of size with so many plants.

Australia shipping company.

These days we have some customers's light damaged by AU Post, and we can not get any compensation from them. so we lose a lot .

In Australia, we can only choose Au Post, becuase it can provide a tracking number and shipping price is ok. but they damaged a lot. we can not control them if they do not protect our products. we have to give them up. so we will add shipping cost (like 100USD)on Australia order, and ship from China by UPS or DHL directly. We worked with DHL and UPS before. they aregreat. no damage product. We like them. I am sorry for this information.

America, we use UPS, it seems they work well . very very very less damage. ?UK is also ok. Australia is a headache.

Dear all my friends, before you sign products, please open the light and check if the light is under good condition, our light is hard, foam in the box is soft. so sometimes box is well , while light has been damaged. please help us. if you sign damage product, it is really very hard for us to get compensation from shipping company. thank you very much.

ok, I have update the price on our website. just want Australia customers get very nice product also. so we prefer to ship from China.

I have one thing forget to tell. all our products add enforce corner in the box now, hope it help protecting lights better. Losing money is a good lesson. we make progress again. :)

smokesara@ wat about Canadians cant i get a panel from usa instead of china? the shipping is a killer ! scrach that its says shipping and handling free but Freight 60+ i dont get what u mean ?

I ordered from Sara and 4-5 days later showed up . the only thing I could suggest is to clear ( duty )ur self, it will save u the extra charge's the shipping company stick to us ( its free to self declare duty ).
All u need is shipping info ( from Sara ) , head to custom's ( look up in phone book , usually it will be near a airport (small and large airports ). When they come to ur door show them the duty clear receipt and its ur's....With out there crazy duty charge (it ur right to self declare )
Sara helps us out with item listed as ........... (work it out with her -not sure about legality), then just pay the taxes as per Sara total. Self cleared :thumb:

I will order another from her soon ....

Let's see how this plays out, not only was the light damaged but it was incorrect size. Just waiting on how Sara & here company resolve this before I comment further, at the moment I am not very happy, stay tuned

I'm betting on Sara making it right.... Sorry you have had such a bad experience but I know she will do everything she can to make it right and the lights are awesome....:circle-of-love:
 
I would happily pay to ship via fedex and not have to deal with UPS's BS...They don't deliver on saturdays.

Well...I gotta eat my words on this one. UPS called and said I could meet them along their route. They saved me some hassle, and I got my light today!
