Ooooo Phat girls gotta luv it ! congrats

Does anyone know the cfm rating of the fans that come installed on the Mars II? They look like 120mm...

Just got my 1600 watt and it runs way hotter than I'd expected. Only had it 1 day and already thinking of upgrading it, lol

:circle-of-love: morning randy, :tokin: thanks for the explanation. :Namaste:
So from what you are saying since all 8 of my Mars Hydro lights have green LED's they are bad? Do I need to send them in for repair Please let me know Kriaze. And then read my post it said pigment not figment and the suggestion to look back and find the post. You might also read where Sara reminded you the bad LENSES cause the lights to burn out not turn GREEN As for my lights since I can test them (and by the way they are white) I won't be needing to send them back. Now just be sure you read what is written not what you want to read before you comment

:cheertwo: hello flesy, they will not be green, we will not install green led diodes on our light, :Namaste: From Page988, the discussion has began. I have learned a lot about light from that time. you can go and have a look. :cheesygrinsmiley:
Can you please link to the post where they talk about bad and/or green LEDs?

I have old model MarsHydro 300W and there are also some leds which *look* greenish to me, but I never considered this an issue. They may well be white. Ok I just checked again, they at first actually look bright orange, warm-white to me. It might be they just *appear* greenish since the rest of the light is red/clue (pink). I really don't THINK they *are* green.

To make this more clear: When I spend some time in my greenhouse at night with the grow lights and I get back into the house, my home indoor-lighting (which definitely has WHITE-WARM LEDs) also appears greenish, for some minutes. It's really an optical illusion from spending time under the pink light. I wouldn't worry about this.

Haha, iPhone is fair to every color. :thumb:
My reflectors also look un mistakenly green but after taken a photo with the iPhone camera they come out white.Eighter way the plants are loving them:)

:bigblush: I am joking too, a serious joking, haha, :slide: I need to talk to you guys more often. :)
Sara you took me serious
I was joking about the green leds, ! My 60x5 works as it should: :volcano-smiley:

:Namaste: peace here, any thoughts are welcome here, sharing is learning and caring.:high-five:
My apologies I automatically assumed that you meant figment as I've never heard of the term 'pigment of your imagination'. As for the rest of your post I got lost in the subtleties of sarcasm, rage and fanboyism. Lighten up, it isn't meant as a personal attack on you when I post my thoughts on my lights, that's what this place is for. Sending you some peace and good karma over there, from the man with green lights :thumb:

:circle-of-love: hello, old, how high have you kept the light above the plant, :Namaste: maybe you can hang the light a little higher and check the reaction of the plant. :circle-of-love:
Good morning Denise .. a while back in one of the conversations here about how close to keep the light and I believe you stated that you put your light at the top of the tent and let the plants grow to it .. how tall is your tent? My plants don't seem to get very tall and I was thinking I keep the light(s) too close .. all else about the plants is healthy under the MarsII 900 .. thanks for your input

:thanks: full spectrum is also very important. :thumb:
Hi Old... At the stage they are at right now they are about 2 to 2 1/2' off the girls... I really worry more about them being far enough away to get the full spectrum of the lights than I do how close they can get....:circle-of-love:

:woohoo: it's really jungle flower, they look so amazing. :thumb:
Low scrog lady :)

Until couple weeks ago she was under 48x3w but got to big(width)and placed her under 2pcs 60x5w.

:circle-of-love: I am curious, too.
WOW!!! what area does her canopy cover totally??

what strain is it? must be some long flowering sativa, right?

:thumb: the size is very good.
Pineapple Sativa.(see journal -LED 150w- below)

Large plant with compact buds, supposed not to be for scrog but tamed her :)

Size bud canopy is 43cm x 70cm ;)

Does anyone know if the Reflector series lights being sold in Australia are the 5w version yet? Specifically, the 96 ones?

I want a 96x3w instead of a 96x5w and was hoping there was still some 3w versions in the Australian warehouse. I have saved up enough and can now buy this model which hopefully runs a bit cooler than the 5w model.

hi, just fitted my new 1200w mars 2. must say its a beast, great build quality. just a quick couple of questions if I can.

looks like a lot of yellow led's, is that normal? I only ask as I see lots of blue/pink photos here, mine aren't looking the same, might just be my old eyes though.
also wondering why there isn't an option to relocate the 4 fixing points to the corners, I have a limited head height and cant use the supplied fitting kit and also cant relocate the fixing points I have. just means the light is 90degrees rotated to how I planned and would like.
is a very solid unit and can not fault any points in the service I've received thus far. ordered Wednesday delivery Friday, cant fault that.

:thumb:haha, that's great.They are happier now. :circle-of-love:
They are very happy Sara now that I have your lights back over them... all things are as they should be again...:Namaste:....:circle-of-love:

:circle-of-love: Hello Apeshot, you will get Reflector 96x5w. yes, 5w will run a little bit hotter, but there is not that much big difference. I guess, your ventilation devices will be able to handle it.:circle-of-love:
