:circle-of-love: Hi Kriaze, thanks for the reminder, it's the wrong lens which will make LEDs burn out, not turn green.:circle-of-love: yes, we will send you replacements of warm white led diodes to replace the "green" leds, :Namaste:they will probably still look "green" to you after the replacement. :circle-of-love:
Not quite true. There have been some faulty LED's and Sara has remarked that they are aware of it. I've just been offered by Ruby to have all my 'warm white' diodes replaced. Definitely not a figment of anyone's imagination. Maybe you missed Sara's post Randy, it's probably less than 10 pages back as of yet :thumb:

:thumb:thank you for the kind words, Kriaze, customer satisfication is very imporatant to us, we will try best to solve any problems you have. :Namaste:
BTW I also have to applaud Ruby for her outstanding customer service in regards to this matter. She involved their Engineer's and actually made the offer to replace my diodes without my even asking. Mars-Hydro had success in retaining this customer for that matter alone ;)

:circle-of-love: ha, plugged, how are you today? wow, this is the second post:thumb: welcome to 420, you will love here
Do you think figment is behind this ? I 'll never get the disney thing

Hello Flexy, it must be typo...It's impossible for 2.5m~3.5m. Thanks for the reminder. I will tell my Ebay colleague about this. :thumb:
I know this has been asked 1000x already.

Sara also gave me the reply with the "old model" 300W (60x5W) about recommended height from plants 18"-24". (This also what most people say and use.)

Now I just found the sheet that came with my lights, and it says
"distance of plants and plant lamp is 2.5m-3.5m, the minimum height for grow lights is 0.8m"

I am again entirely confused now (the sheet is for MZ-300-60LED, MZ-600-120LED, MZAQ-168-55LED, MZAQ-300-100LED which is old-model) since this is WAY, WAY higher distance than from what I have ever read. (This would explain why my plants are still bleaching at 25"...)

(2.5m = 98", 3.5m = 137"!! Or is this a typo on the sheet? Needless to say that 2.5 METERS or 3.5 METERS (!) would be very, very far! :)

So from what you are saying since all 8 of my Mars Hydro lights have green LED's they are bad? Do I need to send them in for repair Please let me know Kriaze. And then read my post it said pigment not figment and the suggestion to look back and find the post. You might also read where Sara reminded you the bad LENSES cause the lights to burn out not turn GREEN As for my lights since I can test them (and by the way they are white) I won't be needing to send them back. Now just be sure you read what is written not what you want to read before you comment

Can you please link to the post where they talk about bad and/or green LEDs?

I have old model MarsHydro 300W and there are also some leds which *look* greenish to me, but I never considered this an issue. They may well be white. Ok I just checked again, they at first actually look bright orange, warm-white to me. It might be they just *appear* greenish since the rest of the light is red/clue (pink). I really don't THINK they *are* green.

To make this more clear: When I spend some time in my greenhouse at night with the grow lights and I get back into the house, my home indoor-lighting (which definitely has WHITE-WARM LEDs) also appears greenish, for some minutes. It's really an optical illusion from spending time under the pink light. I wouldn't worry about this.

:circle-of-love: Hello, plugged, they are not green led diodes, we will not mount green led diodes if not for customization. :Namaste: Light does not propagate in a straight line but in circles, so the color will blend and good camera will detect the blend. The best way is to isolate the other color and check the real spectrum of them and whether the "green" led still looks green to your eyes. They are supposed to be warm white. :circle-of-love:

:high-five: yes, I guess it's from page 988, we have a heated discussion.:Namaste:

Sara you took me serious
I was joking about the green leds, ! My 60x5 works as it should: :volcano-smiley:

My apologies I automatically assumed that you meant figment as I've never heard of the term 'pigment of your imagination'. As for the rest of your post I got lost in the subtleties of sarcasm, rage and fanboyism. Lighten up, it isn't meant as a personal attack on you when I post my thoughts on my lights, that's what this place is for. Sending you some peace and good karma over there, from the man with green lights :thumb:

Good morning Denise .. a while back in one of the conversations here about how close to keep the light and I believe you stated that you put your light at the top of the tent and let the plants grow to it .. how tall is your tent? My plants don't seem to get very tall and I was thinking I keep the light(s) too close .. all else about the plants is healthy under the MarsII 900 .. thanks for your input

Hi Old... At the stage they are at right now they are about 2 to 2 1/2' off the girls... I really worry more about them being far enough away to get the full spectrum of the lights than I do how close they can get....:circle-of-love:
