Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Evening Evo-Rat-93 :circle-of-love:
your timer is faulty:cool:
High Dennise :passitleft:
If I read all that right Evo he has checked all that and the timer isn't the culprit...:circle-of-love:
That does make some sense though, lol :lot-o-toke::morenutes:
I think that one light fixture may have a very low internal resistance and that's why that one fixture is getting a tiny bit of LED light bleed...(compared to his other fixtures) he should still change the timer. That timer has to be allowing some voltage to slip by... Or else we should seek the Vatican as we have a Miracle on our hands! Just trying to make a little joke here, not trying to be a smart azz! :)
:passitleft:
Hallelujah. :peace:

Hello wizgrow, good question here. :Namaste:
We are now stop selling our old models on our main website. The thing is we are now selling them on our EB,Amazon stores with pretty low price, just for the competition there, we are losing money for these models, and since we cannot provide the same price on EB or Amazon, we prefer not to sell them. :volcano-smiley:
In fact, there is always lower prices from some company, and the competitors are crazy, so we had no choice there but to sell these lights at such lower price even if we are losing money. The quality of the old models are still good at this moment, but we are not sure when we cannot afford this kind of bad competition, and then the quality of the lights will be worse. We are company, sellers who need to make money to survive and making improvements on the products, we cannot always lose money to get orders. Hope you all can understand. :circle-of-love:
We don't sell these old models on our webstie is hoping to protect our customers' rights to get the quality guaranteed lights from us, we don't want our customers get bad quality products due to the rat race from EB and Amazon. I hope all of you can be more careful on the products whose price is too low, all the sellers are need to make money, no body would want to lose money in business, if one company can offer a long tern low price to customers, their products' quality is doubtful. What do you think? :thanks:
Hey guys need a couple more old models but not for sale on the mars site. Can anyone confirm the ones on amazon are for real? They are sold by mars/top but they only have a single fan ..... The 4 I have all have 3 fans......

Hey Celt, I won't tell you for now until I got the definite answers, :cheesygrinsmiley:
Good morning Sara

Is there plans to put switches for veg/bloom on other Mars II lights?

Thanks Sara....... These lights are completely underated and a 300w for $73 is just too obvious a choice :)

Glad you received the light already, hope you can grow happy :cheer::circle-of-love::circle-of-love:

Gonna make 1 plant for scrog happy with it, all the light for herself :)

Just send a mail regarding mars2 400w ;)

Sarah,

I think you would like to know. Within a grow space that is 53.34cm square and is 1.6m tall. I am getting a 10,240 lux reading, from the 48pcs x 3w reflector light I bought recently, at 1.24m above the floor. I have had to raise the light unit because the lights where bleaching the fan leaves with the unit hanging at 45cm.

I bought one of them too Wiz... I agree it was just to good a price to resist....:circle-of-love:

I Know there are too many factors to point out any single one as the cause but I am getting ready to cut my best grow yet under 4 of these in a 4x4. Nugs so heavy everything is now laying all over each other....... Same strain same nutes just changed the lighting in this tent......... They may not be fancy but I KNOW they work :)

That sounds truly strange, because my 48*3W is 1-8cm from the canopy and there is no sign of bleaching, even at the bud site that is almost touching the light. I veg'd for 35 days, so this little monster of a plant (indica) took over the whole 40x40x120cm space and there is simply no more room to lift the light any higher. Luckily it doesn't seem to matter much because the plant is very happy and the reflector isn't nearly hot enough to cause any burns.

Here's what it's looking like at the moment:

Not that strange at all, one main thing left out is some strains react different then others. I have many that love as much light as I can give them and some that want me to put sun block on them lol Also humidity level and plant stress can affect this in flower. Knowing your plants and adjusting light is one key for happy, tasty and sweet smelling buds. Awesome growing you have done keep it growing green :passitleft:

Just a few pics from this AM.

Here is the flower tent under the 900. These girls will all be getting a good defol in a few days.

Here is a pic of my Blue Blood. She should be big when she is done.

And lastly, here is what is going on in the veg tent. Sleestak Skunk is re-vegging after showing her sex. The little clone is a Super Silver Haze and the two seeds that have not shown their heads yet are Heavyweight Dream Machine and Dr Krippling Incredible Bulk.

What Co said... I have grown strains that can literally sit on the M-H lights and others that literally start curling at 12"... and I know I have said it a bunch of times but truly... you should not be worrying about how close your girls can get without burning them but how far they need to be to get the benefit of the full spectrum... Of course if your girls grow to tall you have a bit of a problem but I try and train my girls to stay low....:circle-of-love:
