Hope you will get your light tomorrow,if not, please feel free to let me know, I would like to help you. :circle-of-love:

I am excellent. I'm missing my tent but I have my outdoor started with little babies popping up. I promised the wifey I would shut the tent down for most of the summer and a deal is a deal. The good news is I'm upgrading to a 2x4 in August so... I'll be needing another 400. :). I can't wait, in the meantime I have some seedlings to worry about. I figure for about $350 I can double my space and cover the months I'm not growing indoors. I can't wait. I love this hobby SO much. :420::circle-of-love:

haha,a dea is a deal, brother, you are REALLY a good husband.keep your words, email me when you are ready,I am here waiting for you.lol

Thank you SweetHeart... and I'm sure what ever all that says it is really good info... but I'm a blonde all the way to the roots and to be honest.... I didn't understand a word of it but KJC says 86 is the optimal temp and if King says it... I believe it... and that makes it so.........:circle-of-love:

good afternoon ,dennise!:thumb:I saw some people said 80-85 is the optimal temp on the forum, but less or more than 1-2 degree is next to it.so i think this is also ok,we need to learn more, lol

Sara - I have a quick question for you. I have one "Old Model" 100x3w and one Reflector Model 96x3w, and I'm wondering if there is any differences in the types of LED chips used between those models?

Thanks for you great support - :goodjob:

hello,Possibly, you are welcome. haha, sounds great you have our led lights. our old model 100x3w and reflector 96x3 both use the same 3w chip.so there is no difference in their chip. hope you grow well with our light.

by the way i would like to tell the truth,we have lost much money on the 100x3w for a long time on Ebay and we are keeping on losing money,i am not sure how much longer we can lose, once when we can't lose any more i believe the quality of 100x 3w will much lower than now, that what other companies have done, i am worrying the same thing will happen in our company,so we will not sell it on our website any more, let them bite on Ebay. As your friend , i perfer to protect your benefit firstly but not just make money, after all, I need friends rather than my company! haha ,my boss will kill me.lol
:Namaste:

Thanks for that good information!

I tried to do that first thing, actually, and I was not able to slide it open because of the switches. How did you get the cover to slide past the on/off switches?

hello, possibly, please show me picture, i would like to help you.:thanks:

At least on mine, the switches don't obstruct the opening of the top cover in any conceivable way.

hi Oinnk, thank you for your help!actually we don't mind you sharing your growing experience on the forum, we can learn from each other
:cheer:

That would imply that the inside has open cut-outs where the switches are? From the outside it looks like the switches run straight through circular openings in both cases, but I could be wrong about that, the other way would actually make more sense. I'll try again. I saved piece that fell off, even caught the little washer. A drop of Loctite on the screw and that shouldn't happen again... if I can get in there.

Of course, it would seem that I'm losing my warranty by doing this?

actually it will not influence the warrantly,we allow customers to repair by themselves,so you can try another way, this is the right we provide for you,but just pay attention to the other parts inside of the light. of course, you need to save the piece that fell off and those screws,if you still cannot open the cover, just show me the picture, i would like to help you.

Mars Hydro has you fix there units as it is easier for everyone. I'm not Mars Hydro.. But it will not void your warranty.

yes ,it will not viod your warranty, thanks for your help.:thanks:

As long as they know that you are doing this and obviously they do... it will not void your warranty... as Wahtoogee stated it is the most cost effective way for such an easy fix.....:circle-of-love:

haha, Dennise ,you know us well , thanks:thanks:

Maybe when you get it open and put it back together a little Loctite wouldn't hurt. Just don't use the RED Loctite! Maybe Mars could start putting Loctite on those parts anyways, this is not the first I've heard about those nuts coming loose.

thank you for your good suggestion,I've forwarded this information to our factory and they told us they will make change asap:high-five:

Long time lurker here. I just bought a mars 700W from your site. cant wait to see how it dose in the summer. I cant fight temps again like I did last year.I plan to use this light during late spring, summer and early fall & The Hps late fall through early spring.
I Cant wait to try it tbh I have been itching to ever since I made the decision to try it. :)

How do you upload photos from an IPad? My 144 x 5 reflector panels are falling out after less than a month of use! I wanna upload pics for Sara to see so she can suggest a route to fix them but I have no idea how to upload pics?
