Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Thank you Conerd, I will send you an tent when the tent arrive, once it arrive, hope to get more suggestions from you , we wil not ship tent to US becuase we want to change it in advance then sell great product to growers. we have to idea now, but we need more, collect more good ideas, I believe we will have great product. I saw you are helping us everywhere. thank you so much . :circle-of-love:
Their 200cm tent will be about 6'7" tall. I suspect they're limited by what sized poles they can source. Metric, of course. :)

Sara, FYI:
Most houses in the US have about 240cm actual clearance between floor and ceiling. Many older homes have basements with about 210cm clearance. In most states, standards require 240cm and above for all finished rooms. Modern homes in the US with unfinished basements may have rooms with around 275cm between floor and ceiling joists because they leave room for a HVAC plenum.

So, 200cm fits everywhere and can likely vent out the top. A 240cm tent would fit in most US rooms, but the side vents would likely have to be used. Those growing in unfinished spaces may be able to use a top vent even in a 240cm tent.

:Namaste:

Happy thanksgiving day all my friend:) thanks all of you. I have been here one year,5months and 14days.:) I am very happy , thanks for your support and help:) :circle-of-love: I am a lucky Chinese:thanks:

I were told by someone that FEDEX send them invoice to ask pay taxes after products arrived for some days. actually, Europe customers will pay taxes if we ship from China. if you are in United States, we state lower than 2000USD you do not need to pay, I am not sure where the problem is, even some US customers told me they need to pay taxes. in order to avoid taxes. please order the lights we have in warehouse. Europe Union customers, order the lights we have at UK. we are try our best to avoid shipping from China for you. we do not want customs to know you are import led from China. safety is the first policy:):circle-of-love:

:thanks: make another progress on our new brand, haha.
I have just asked to have the name of your 420 Magazine sponsor thread changed to "Mars-Hydro LED grow light discussion?"

The 4.8x4.8 tent looks just like the one I just did in a video if anyone would like to see it in video let me know.

cannabis likes it in the 80-90s so the heat being blown downward is actually a plus. I don't have active heat removal so I wouldn't like having the heat exit above the fixture.

A good example, everyones situation is different...In my case, zero humidity 90+ deg hot air that turns leaves crispy=No good. The new light coming out has fans reconfigured for the same reasons i would like to modify my existing light...This would lead me to believe others may be having the same issues as me. For now ill add alum ''louvers" to outside of lights that re-direct exhaust upward. :peace:

on another note, i have just sprouted a fem c-99 , fem white widow, and undecided on one more, all to be grown 12/12 from seed .Will post a few pics throughout to show progress and effectiveness of these great lights.

Pic below was first attempt at 12-12 grow from bagseed , sorry for crappy quality

Why do you have zero humidity in you flower room?

first off thanks sara and happy thanksgiving to everyone!

0% humidity is a bigger issue than a temperature of 90f. plants release moisture so I doubt the humidity is any lower than 40% which is actually ideal to grow in because it prevents mold from colonizing. the heat allows the plants to transpire more which increases growth and raises the humidity. a cold plant will move like cold feet. it sounds and looks like you have a very good grow area. if leaves run out of nutrients they will get crispy no matter what. if healthy leaves curl upward or "taco" then you have heat issues.

you could always try to flip the fans or wire them differently if your pushing 100f and need to make some changes, but this may void your warranty.

srry for confusion...humidity stays around 40%, I figured after the air was sucked through the light over hot heatsink , that air would be dry...all in all everything is fine, i just constantly trying to improve. pic below is fem white widow, pic taken minutes ago..To be grown under 2 300 watt old models..will post a few pics as it matures. Really looking forward to new lights, any idea on approx release date?

it's understandable dude. those are some nice flowers. did you get them from the leds?

I just ordered mine from the Top Led website but seen that there is also a Mars Hydro website that sells the same thing for a few dollars cheaper. Strange, because I now see that they are the same company but just changed websites. I don't know what to think about that. Oh well, I just hope that it is the same light. I ordered the 144 x 3w Reflector series and am excited to see my plants reaction to their new light source.
