My old model 100x3 now up and running. I think my ladies are going to like these.

Maybe someone here can answer this: What is up with the grow journal policy? it is located under the company policy tab on their web site. I sent emails and all I got was they never heard of it and they ask and let me know. been weeks no answer and it strange they have no idea about it when its on the web site.

What is your specific question?

Evening All

I recently harvested my 2 ladies, Northern Light blue and Fruity Chronic Juice, unfortunately i dont have any pictures to post yet as I have not long been back having been away abroad for a week since harvest. But here they are as some of you may know them:

And now they are in jars ;) together they came in at just over 12oz dry. I used the Mars II 900w for the first half of flowering and then switched to my Mars II 1200w. Both proved very effective. Very dense buds, and very high resin production, very, very strong smoke!

I wish you all a very happy and green weekend! :Namaste:

Hey guys and gals. Had a question. Figured if any one had the answer it would be this community. So I've got two 144 x 3 reflector series lights. I have them in a 4x4 room. Lights are about 5 inches apart so both of them roughly form a square. They are about 20" from the canopy. 2 plants in a rdwc. Air temps around 78 F. Water temps average 70 F. 450 - 500 ppm CO2. Tap water filtered to 80 ppm. Don't know if any of those is relevant to my question but I figure it can't hurt. My observation is that the leaves on the outer edge of the room that get less light look super healthy. Very lush green with a slight shine to them. Not like nitrogen toxicity, just healthy. The plants just entered their 5th week of flower. Also the buds look a little healthier too on the edges. In the middle of the plants the leaves look a little bleached, maybe like a mag deficiency or something. Some of the middle older leaves get worse turn brown and eventually die. So my question is do any of you guys notice this phenomenon? I posted a similar post under the sick plants thread with pics but did not get much of a response so I figured I would try here. Not really asking for a def. diagnostic or anything. More or less just wondering if anyone else has noticed this and if so what they might have done to fix it. Thanks guys. Really do like my lights. I will post some pics if anyone is interested. Happy Growing!

Here is another one I did for the Mars II 80x5w..

Wow bro - I have been waiting for some one to do this for soooo long - THANK YOU :)

Your test showed the Mars with better results than: DS200 Vs MarsII 400

I know you were just getting a rough estimate out but given your experience with both the reflector series and MarsII - Which do you prefer on a PAR per Watt and/or any other reason?

3w vs 5w Par per watt test I have seen to date by both manufacturer and independent seem not only inclusive but sometimes contradictory :(

REALLY appreciate this bit of work!

Plants grown under LED lights have a higher calcium and magnesium requirement, you should use a calcium and magnesium supplement. I use Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus calcium and magnesium supplement for my plants at 5 millilitres per gallon in my nutrient mixture.

Thanks for the advice KingJohnC. I was thinking that the parts of the plant that are getting more light are probably going through more nutes than the one on the edge. I have been trying a call mag foliar without much luck. I am using heavy 16 bud a and b which have more calmag than most base nutes. Happy Growing everyone!

I have noticed same, and KJC is right pretty sure it CA/MG, plants under LED seem to need more.

Anyone have any tips on how to photograph flickering LED's? Trying to get my Mars II 900w fixed and have been asked to take a photo of it...So I did, it looks fine... 1/4 of the diodes are flickering rapidly.
