Got the 96x3 lights early this week... EXTREMELY fast shipping from China to the States... I am impressed! Lights came very well packaged and arrived safely. Put them up that evening but had some issues with getting them to sit right since I tried to string them on a single yoyo each. Last night I restrung them so that they have a yoyo on each end. The two lights are sitting parallel to each other right above my 4x2 VersaGrow. Still playing with the height above the plants but everything is looking great!

oh , yes it is infared and you can't see it work with your eyes.

I did have one question though.... when I hooked up the lights I noticed that on both panels on each light (so a total of four panels) there is a single red light that does not get bright like the others. I would immediately think that this is an issue with the LED but it is the same exact brightness in the same exact spot across all four panels. What is this light?

yeah, well done. in order to protect our eyes, need to wear a dark sunglasses when you look at the working light.

This is 1 girl harvested yesterday for 4/20. This is all wet weight but will post dry weight when it is available. This is Norther Lights x Big Bud and was chopped 60 days in bloom. the totals are on the scales.... it is 4+ oz popcorn bud and trim and 7+ oz buds all wet of course as it was just cut yesterday. I am going to cut the Sugar Black Rose later this week and the AKxWW next week. This was all grown under the 3w reflector.....:circle-of-love:

Hi Sara, I do have a thread but it began as a "slowth growth in coco" started in the coco growing forum and much to my delight it has now turned into "look how great my plants are doin".. I'm about to begin a new thread in the led section, I have my 96x3w reflector finishing up an auto that i posted pics of a few days ago and now have my old model 300w flowering a G13 labs purple kush, also have started a few seedlings, so def need to get a thread going, I can tell u I haven't tried my MarsII yet but both these 300w models are just awesome, I am so glad I found this thread and bought these lights!!
Here's the purple kush which is now under the old model 300w, up until this point she has been with the LA Diva under the 96x3w, that light did both plants very very nicely!!

And here's the La Diva again, she has been under the 96x3w since seeding, though I did move her under some cfls for a few days when I was having the slow growth in coco, figured the light maybe to powerful for seedlings though that wasn't the case, my problem was that I flushed the coco before use when I should have used it as is. She ended up doing just great and is getting soooo frosty!!

those plants in veg look to be around 7-8 weeks + 2-3 weeks in seedling? seems normal let us know how she stretches
 
Nice setup sativacat, good luck! It looks like you have the right light for the right tent, it is a 4'x2' tent correct? If so, you might want to rotate your light 90° so the long axis of the light runs along the same direction as the long axis of the box. That will most effectively cover your entire grow with room to spare.

Thanks for the compliment. The tent has a square footprint, 2.6ft x 2.6ft x7ft. To be honest Ive been wondering if I under-purchased a bit in the lighting department. Later on into this grow I am considering picking up a second (shorter) tent to use for veg/cloning and getting more light for this tallboy.

Since your tent is square you probably not want the 144X3, it 3-48 diode modules long. But you may want to get another 96X3w when you flower, for veg what you got is more then fine.
