yeah, actually we are on several forums, but 420 magazine is our favorite . a lot active member, expert grower, helpful grower. we do really hope growers can share experience and help each other. all grow well. then we will be happy :)

If I were you and budget is not very limited. I will goes to two Mars Pro II 160 LED. it will cover your area very well and flower well. the Reflector 192LED. it can cover your 4 plants well during vegetable stage, but during flowering stage. power is a bit weak. I do really hope to help you get the best result.

Now our product is on sale now. if you buy 1 reflector 192LED is 288.99USD, if you buy two Mars Pro II 160LED, it is 594USD . if you think the price is too much . goes to 2 reflector 144 , which is 436USD/ for price point and grow harvest, goes to 2 reflector 144 is better than one reflector 192.

All the quote is based on you are from united states and you buy this month , during our shopping festival. :circle-of-love:

Go for the epistars brotha. I have 2 of the 160's and have 4 feet of light penetration

both reflector series and Mars Pro II are Epistars. but the Mars Pro II is using the new tech LEDs, high quality , it does works better. among all our products, I love the Mars Pro II best, but maybe soon I will goes to COB or our new Mars II series:) another new information only tell 420magazine friends today. all our Mars II series will update to a new series:) totally new light. they will meet your November if everything goes well :) :circle-of-love:

That's very interesting Sara because of the good price on the Mars II series. Very interesting

Hello everyone :)

So, i bought a mars hydro 1600 from a friend about 1½ years ago, it was brand new in the box and never used, since i did not have any option to grow with it, it have just been sitting in the box until 6 months ago, i completed the first grow with it without any problems (besides the low yield obviously) But here after my second run, i have encountered 15 problems, i have added a picture so you can see them... :) (hint: diodes are burnt out, not just dead, but proper burnt out....)

Finally got the picture working...

So i obviously dont have any warranty as i got this of a friend and i am not here to get a new lamp. (!)

But i would really like to know, is it normal that MH only can grow 2 grows before being ready to scrap? I mean, its not the cheapest or best light out there, more like a mediorce light but i would still expect them to atleast run for a few years before dying.. but obviously there are used some cheap/faulty diodes and/or drivers, i have googled the problem and it seems like its 90% of the MH 2 lights sold will have the faulty diodes/drivers that die after short time, its really a shame...

I still have my MH 400 that i use for a small veg-room from time to time, that one is still alive, but it has only run for like 3 months, so i guess its got another 3 months in it before dying aswell??? :)

I enjoyed trying out these LEDs, but imo, they are too weak for flowering, they make more heat in the growroom than a 600w aircooled hps and last but not least, they yield alot less than a hps.

(I know a few people have documented decent yields, but its only a handful, but you never see any green on a weight, only people writing they did good, with no proof, hell, most people dont even weight it, they just estimate their amount and brag)

Either way, like i said, i enjoyed trying them out, maybe ill try again in 10 years time when they can actually make buds pack weight or atleast work for longer than two grows :)

Everyone has their own preference and needs, I have growed with hps and led and for me I like led, especially quality of buds, same strain but buds was alot better under led, I even yielded more with my led.

What do you think about the ps cob? ..️

I have two epistar 160's have looked at ps cob and it looks fantastic. Don't get me wrong loving the epistars but the ps spectrum and cob integration is killing it.

Leds grow beautiful plants and buds. Tons over the 420 have proved it over and over again. With mars lights and others. Cause you Bought a bum light from your buddy isn't mars fault. But if your decent about it Sara will probably help you out and get that one running again. Wouldn't say it's junk yet. I had a 1600 which burned out led within first month or so and Sara hooked me up.
As tom said everyone has them own opinion but my say between led and hps with the right led light you can easily out perform hps with quality and quantity.ive grown with hps and still do. If I already had the money all my lights would already be led but due to cost i can't right yet.

I never said it dont grow decent buds, they just dont pack the same weight and size as hps buds do :)

But im not here to argue or bash MH, im just wondering why they burn out so fast, i can see its a very common problem.

ps. the lights were brand new, unopened box.

My Mars 1200 (600w actual draw) done a great job in my 4×4, believe it or not I yielded right at 23oz with autos and almost 8 more from the hps but I had temp issues in the hps room and my buds were nowhere near as dence and frosty as my led, i would have probably done alot better with the hps if I hadn't had high temps...️

If you think HPS packs more weight than LED, then you didn't really try LED. Try again and do it right next time :)

Agreed - There is a lot of unbelievable yields out there

My mars light and my other led light both grow the same quality and quantity buds as my hps just with less cost and heat.but as you said most lie about there final weight lol.

:circle-of-love:we are always trying offer good quality products with lower price.:cheer:
