Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

I understand that they publish this movements to show that there is a little step for cannabis, but actually they have other purpose which is the most important things for them. One coin ,two side.:Namaste:
the big problem in canada, is the government wants to have it's fingers in every pie.

those 34 llc's are basically being set up for life by the gov. to control the entire country's supply, which is crap. as t.s. said, they will push finished bud claiming no seeds or clones available, and get away with it because the gov backs them 100%.

can anyone say communist?

bet yer ass i can.

and i for one am not going to be limited that way. illegal or not. my doc kicked me out 2 years ago now, fast tracking a major withdrawal from oxycontin use @ 90 + mg per day. screw em all i say. don't think i really want my name on a list of growers for when the gov decides to overthrow the med patient growers again, but this time with their ss troops in armored vehicles pulling up to yank your small grow op. like i'm a dangerous criminal.

baaahh rant over.

initially i saw reports of that yesterday and thought hey that's good for us. and THAT is exactly what the gov here wants us to believe.
not this freakin cowboy.

have fun eh

Government just found a better way to monitor growers :volcano-smiley:and they have their reasons.
Seems more like a bastardized socialist setup to me (which is basically what we have degraded to south of you in my country).

I thought what's-his-name was going to legalize cannabis in Canada by Spring, 2017, lol? I'm getting the impression that might have been just another empty campaign promise for the gullible. Sadly.

Yes, mono, congratulations on winning the contest (and on your awesome prize pack)!

Speaking of which, is there any hope for legalization of cannabis in China, at least for medicinal use in the near future? I read this on Wikipedia:

Wikipedia said:
Emperor Shen-Nung, who was also a pharmacologist, wrote a book on treatment methods in 2737 BCE that included the medical benefits of cannabis. He recommended the substance for many ailments, including constipation, gout, rheumatism, and absent-mindedness. Cannabis is one of the 50 "fundamental" herbs in traditional Chinese medicine.

I am not sure about that.:Namaste:China have many herbs,if someone really need be cured by cannabis,Chinese doctor will always find something else to replace it.Or the only way you can get it is from the doctor, and they need many documents to buy it.:volcano-smiley:

Which cannabis seed would you guys recommend? For medical use.

That's like asking, "What medicine is best... for medical use?" It depends on the ailment, disease, condition, et cetera. And it isn't entirely simply a question of "sativa vs. indica," either.

exactly what i thought on reading the question.

In general, an indica (NOT a sativa). But probably one that has some percentage of sativa genetics in it, just enough to help prevent that "groggy and lethargic" feeling upon awakening. I do not honestly feel qualified to give medicinal advice, so I would not recommend a specific strain.

You might do some reading here:

Or ask your question here:
Sleep Modulation

Definitely take advantage of the wealth of information in the more medicinally-themed sections of this forum. You should be able to find an appropriate place to ask such a question, one in which it has a high likelihood of being seen - and answered - by people who have personally experienced that problem and who can give you specific strain recommendations based on their personal experience. Most people are here to help others, and sleep-related issues are not really all that uncommon.

Being able to fall asleep (at an appropriate time, lol) is important. Also important are: Being able to sleep through the night as one uninterrupted period, to benefit from the sleep (IOW, there is a difference between being in REM sleep and being unconscious ;) ), and being able to wake easily and refreshed the next morning. Sleep - and dreaming. These things are important in many ways. It is a time for the body to deal with accumulated toxins and waste products, a time for the mind to deal with and digest things, et cetera.

Sleep and the body's Circadian rhythm are very important to one's health and well being. There are other things that might help, such as certain herbs/substances (alone or in combination with cannabis), preventing ALL light from hitting one's closed eyelids (if your friend has not tried it, perhaps a sleeping mask, non-constrictive blindfold, or even covering the upper half of his face with a dark t-shirt or other piece of lightweight - but heavy enough to block out all illumination - might help). And be aware that it can take from a week to over a month to properly regulate one's sleep patterns, even if/when a solution is found. Especially[/i] in cases such as your friend's, where the product is chronic in nature and has been ongoing for a long period of time. In severe sleep-related issues, there is usually no "instant solution." This is true whether the root cause is organic, functional - caused by a mental condition or a brain injury and/or disease - or due to stress, environmental conditions, even due to an event in the person's past that has been unconsciously affecting him/her all this time.
