Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

When did market research that time, most of the grower like square tents, and they recommended the size.:high-five:
And now we also produce rectangle tents,2'x4',4'x8',5'x10'.:high-five:
It appears that most people prefer square tents over rectangle ones as there are a lot more sizes of square tents to choose from. Most of the Mars Hydro tents are square and I'm wondering why this is?
I prefer rectangle and was looking for one about 2x1x2m but can't seem to find anything that fits that.
If I have to bite the bullet and go with a 2.4x1.2x2 like the one Mars Hydro sells, what would be the best lights to use to fit this size?

Alternatively, if I were to go a square tent, say 1.5x1.5x2m, what would be the best light to suite that size space and would you guys have any suggestions on how best to fit three plants inside a square space?

P.s. I want three plans as I will use this tent as a bloom room and will have another three sitting in my current space being used as a vege room. I can only have a maximum of six plants to stay in the lower part of the law

:circle-of-love:Usually after your receive the light,we will send you the Instruction book via email.:Namaste:
I'm glad i can help you here.:high-five:
Sure i will check.:high-five:
Hey all just finished a WONDERFUL small grow (2) plants at a time in my flower closet with my old school marsydro 300 it's the 5 watt led but no veg/flower switch and it worked great shipping was fast I didn't get any paper work but Sarah was here for all questions. I wanted to say tho that my light was adding 8-10 degrees of temp when on. Thats all so others can prep for that adjustment. Thanks Sarah and good luck check out my next journal or my final weigh in tomorrow peace all

:Namaste:Yeah,we noticed that growers also like rectangle tent,so we sell it also .we have 2'x4',4'x8',5'x10',we have these tents at our US warehouse already and we will have them at all of our international warehouse very soon.:high-five:
I'm with you and prefer a rectangular tent. I've got a 3' x 5' Secret Jardin. They make a couple of tents in the 'wide' configuration.

:goodjob:
Pvc a tarp and Velcro they sell all u need at Home Depot and you can build that for cheap I've built all mine never bought a pre fab tent before

:circle-of-love:You are good at DIY:thumb:
Obviously you can't have a 6ft length without some sort of support but absolutely it will hold my chin up bar is pvc it's all about the design that's all and remember keep it simple. Think mini greenhouse crossed with a loop house and keep in mind what you need and where in the tent and your good. It really is easy you don't even need tools just a hack saw that you can buy at the same place for $4

you will go Cyprus.:cheertwo:Can you take me with you?

If you cannot afford to go, lol, you could probably just climb into the nearest oven - it's 4:30something in the morning there now and still 81°F (27°C), heading to about 101°F or 102°F (38°C or 39°C) later today. OtOH, that's cooler than my bedroom, so I'm actually a little envious myself...

:volcano-smiley:
Also a buddy of mine bought two pre fabs and then used pvc etc to make one big tent to meet his needs so you could do that also

:high-five:I'm also not good at DIY stuff, haha:passitleft:
That is for the tips I'll be sure to keep them in mind.
I'm not great with DIY stuff though so not sure how I'd go designing something like that but I'll look in to it.
Thanks again! :)

:circle-of-love:Evening TorturedSoul,i also do not have holiday to go :volcano-smiley: We do not have summer holiday,so maybe Bluecheeze can send me a post card from Cyprus,:cheertwo:
81°F in the morning is too hot for me,i can not survive from that,i think i will stay in the water and no one should drag me out of my water.:volcano-smiley:

I want to distinguish overwatered from underwated, but i found out that sometimes it's not easy to make the conclusion.

Hello!

So I Have a few questions that I'm sure most people on this thread could answer, but I'm a first timer so there really isn't too many questions in my case. I bought three Mars 2 700w lights directly from their website a few months ago, but had to plan and execute a cross country move, so I'm just now able to get my grow going. Ive started with 2 DWCs, both under CFLs but eventually moving on to one of 700W Mars units.

So my questions are...

A) Should i use just the Growth switch during veg and just the Bloom Switch during flower, or can you use both switches at the same time? Im thinking use the Growth switch during veg, then flip on both switches when i flip to 12/12. Am i correct on this or is this too much stress on the light?

B) I am only using one of the 700W Mars 2 units I have. With that said, when is it a good time to put the full power of those 700W's on the plants? Each DWC is under its own 65W CFL, but when should I make the switch? I want to make sure i don't put too much on them too early, so i don't burn them up or anything.

Any feedback will be much appreciated. Thanks guys!
