Hi Sara

I just checked out the trade-in program and I was wondering if this is trade in is correct:

Reflector 48 $89.99 → $12 $60 MarsPro II Cree 128 $446.99 $187( 59% off)

So if I trade in my recently purchased 48x5, I'll be able to get a MarsPro II for only $187 ???

Yes i understand that there is so many factors that can make a difference, but if everything is going pretty good for a first grower, is 2 Oz from 1 plant hard to score? With good High yielding seeds from lets just say for example from sensi seeds.

You seem to want some reassurance and appear to understand how variable things can be, but it is my opinion based on my not so perfect first grow that 2 oz/plant is a reasonable expectation. My first grow was a 2 SSH grow (a relatively difficult plant to grow) in two AirPots under 3 MH 96 x 3 watt reflectors. It seemed pretty stretchy and was more than a meter in final height and is not known as being a high yielder. To make matters worse, I made my share of newbie mistakes. Along with everything else, the amount of light that your plants receive and what methods you use (i.e., LST, Topping, etc) will influence your yield. I ended up with about 4.8 oz from the two plants.

What light produce highest quality buds?

Assuming that your spectrum is fine, your yields and quality should increase with the amount of light that your plants receive...up to a point. I've seen different values presented, but if I remember correctly somewhere in the range of 600-1000 PPFD would be ideal. I'd suggest that you do some research on this if it interests you.

Hello Guys,
Can you please point me in the right direction how high the light has to be from my plant ? I have a Mars Pro 160 light and I love it :)

Wait a bit and see if they stretch and then gradually move closer as they grow bigger, the plants(especially the young ones) need to get used to the intense LED lights, so it's not recommended to suddenly drop the light a lot closer in one go.

Bluecheeze, Thank You sooo much it's very helpful. :thanks:
PurpleGunRack Also thank You so much for good tips I will make sure to lower the light slowly. Can I ask you what should I look for if plants don't like the height. You said they will stretch than I can lower it, what if it's a little close what should I look for ?
Thanks :) :thanks::thanks:

If the small plants get too long with thin stem the lights should be lowered, if the leaves get light-burn raise the lights, don't worry about a little bleached tips, can also be nutes or other things, but if the leaves start to curl and the leaf edges/surfaces get white/yellow.

Hi! I just bought 2 lights from Mar (reflector 144) and they sent me 2 emails telling me how far to put the lights. I'm not sure this is the same for your light, but I thought I'd pass it along:

Recommended light above plants for seeding, growth and flowering time:
Germination-------------24-30inches
Vegetable -- --------18-24 inches
Flower------12-18 inches

Hi PurpleGunRack, the price for our Trade-in price on our official website isn't correct.I'm sorry for that, we will correct it.:Namaste:And thanks for pointing it out.:thanks:
Reflector48 $101.99 →$89.99 ;after Trade-in for Mars Pro II Cree128 $460.99-$89.99=$371USD,so if you trade you Reflector48,you will get a Mars Pro II Cree128 for $371USD.:high-five:

:circle-of-love:We usually recommend hanging distance from canopy:
germination 24-30inches above the plants
veg:18-24 inches above the plants
flower:12-18 inches above the plants
Our recommendation is just for you reference, you just to adjust it to a better distance according to their react.:high-five:
