Congratulations! I've seen the specifications and product description on Mars-Hydro's website and that looks like an awesome prize.

wow,you did a good job:cool:.I can not help picturing your girls are dancing in your new"garden":surf:Please keep us updated:high-five:
I was going to wait until tonight to set up my new light because I wanted to see if I could fit in my tent but my tent is only 32''x32''x63'' and that light would just roast my plants if I tried to put it in my tent I cant even imagine how hot it would be if I did I bet it would be like a inferno lmao

so I will be using this light in my closet grow and leave my mars II lights in the tents and I think it worked out for the better it looks awesome in the closet I wont have no problem with growing 4 autos under it in my first grow with it

I got it all set up I did most of the work before I got the light so all I had to do was hang it up and I was done now all I have to do is bust out my little personal seed bank a decide what 4 auto seeds I want to plant so many choices to pick from now that's the kind of problem I dont mind having lol I dont have that many compared to some other growers I know but its enough for me for now

Hello fellow Mars Hydro light users. I was wondering if anyone here with a Mars 1200 II and a Kil-A Watt meter could tell me what the watt draw is with both the grow and bloom spectrums on and also the draw of just the grow spectrum please. I currently own a 900 II and want to purchase a 1200 II but was curious about the draw mainly the draw with just the grow spectrum on. My 900 II pulls 420 with full spectrum and 290 with just the growth spectrum on

they grow fast, they are much bigger compare with your last post:volcano-smiley:They are having a happy growing.that's awesome:lot-o-toke:
High ;)

Girls are healthy and grow well, :Namaste:

Hi Frank,i just got reply form our repair center, recently our Canada repair center is lacking of accessories, the new parts will arrive the end of this week, once it arrive,i will let you know.:Namaste:
As you said when you packed the light, you sealed all corners of the box,if the humidity stock in the box was that high and reached the dewpoint, the box would be destroyed before it arrived at our repair center. And your light got problem before you sent it out.:high-five:
when our Canada technician opened your light,it is covered with droplets.
I consulted with our engineer, and he was runing the test with a used light at hight humidity with high temperature, also tested with low temperature.
test_1-1.jpg

test_1-2.jpg

As you can see that at80% humidity with the temperature 30.2C,with exhaust system, there is not waterdrops on the light.(we switched on the light for one night, and switched off for one day)

test2-1.jpg

test_2-2.jpg

This is when inside of the tenttemperature is 31.4C,outsie of it is 13.9C,at 53%humidity.Without the exhaust system, you can see clear the waterdrops on the tent.:high-five:but do not have droplets on the lgiht

test3-1.jpg

test3-3.jpg

test3-2.jpg

We also tested in a sealed tent without exhaust system, and put the light above the water. When the temperature insdie the tent is around 37C,cool it down to around 17C,at 50%-60%humidity ,on the tent have droplets, but do not have waterdrops on the light.:high-five:(we switched on the light for about 3 hours, and switched off for about 1 hour)
The exhaust system is very important. When the inside and outside of your growing room temperature difference is too big(22c-0c),it will produce plenty of fog.You need to make sure the exhaust system works well:Namaste:,if the fog can not go outside for a long time, even with low humidity, the fog will become droplets eventually, the light will be damaged. It's also not good for the plant.:circle-of-love:
We are frank with our warranty and will follow it strictly.:high-five:
Hi Sara,

To answer your question the temp in my room is kept between 23-25C . I told the repair center I got the humidity to 70% when I had problems just to relieve some stress from my plants. But I don't keep the room at this humidity constant. But my plants are doing fine and this isn't the problem here.

The problem is that your service center wont repair my lights under warranty because they are saying that they've been exposed to a damp environment. Your tech even said that they shouldn't be exposed to RH higher than 50% . But you on your side your telling me that your lights have been tested up to 90% humidity.

Are you willing to honor your warranty or not? because according to Della you won't.

Thank you

Frank

Mars II 1200 the power consumption is 120V: 514.6W±5%, 240V: 509W±5%.The growth group control 150leds,the draw power is about 319W;bloom group control 90leds,the draw power is about 192W.:high-five:

Hi Sara,

First of all Why you tech told me that my first light had problems because I exposed it to 70% RH and that I shouldn't expose it to RH higher than 50% ( I have pics of txt to support that) ? He never mentioned that it was exposed to dripping water or that it had any water droplets.

The Box wouldn't have been Destroyed because I put the original foam in the box so its tightly packed. Most of the air inside the box was actually inside the light.

I have proper exhaust. My humidity is controlled with a dehumidifier. Cooled with a air conditioner ( I dont even have to empty the water collection bin I put underneath it dries before I have to). Room air is cycled every now and then with a 8'' blower. I have a 6'' blower/tent to circulate the air inside the room.

The light I just sent you was exposed to 45-50 Humidity for a week before I sent it. You can see on the picture of my dehumidifier that's its set to 45. You can see on my insteon Thermostat that the humidity at the opposite side of the room is 41%. Its unfortunate that I cant extract a Log of the past temperatures and RH levels in my growroom from my insteon system.

I have no water piping going over the lights so I wish you could tell me where those droplets are coming from?
I'm certainly not taking my bath with those lights.

1)My growroom isn't outside its inside. Its not exposed to cold temperatures...

2)That's exactly what I am telling you. We still have freezing nights around here. If I packed my box in my growroom at 22C and in the post truck during the night it drops close to 0C its normal to have droplets form on the inside of the light since its the hot side.

Its really disappointing to have to fight to have the warranty covered. I've had trust in your products and purchased 3 lights to complement my setup. I've been running for years and I know my whole setup is top.
I can control all variables in my room which is by far the most important thing for any grow room. I'm not a cheap person and that's why I already paid for the repair of the first light. Also I'm not here to rip you off or make sure I have more money in my pockets. I just want things to be right and as they should.

I hoped we could come to an agreement and I am growing tired of this situation but as I can see you guys are stuck on showing me that Im wrong.

Its ok I guess if that's the way you do business. On my side I know that there has been no foul play so the outcome of this situation will only be that I wont be satisfied.

Thx and a good day to everyone

Frank

It has been real, it has been nice, it has been real F***ing nice.Just wanted to say Thank You to the many talented and creative growers on this site. Sara, Sophia and crew have been exceptionally helpful and I thank you all. AS soon as I figure out how to log out and or leave I will be saying good bye, good luck and good night.

SmokeSara, if you don't mind me asking in your thread... How many watts per square foot (or per square meter - I have a calculator, lol) are your customers running with your products? Having never had the opportunity to grow with LEDs, I have (primarily) used HPS to flower. As I like sativas and sativa-leaning hybrids more than indicas, I have often ran 75... even up to a maximum of just over 100 watts per square foot. But that is an extreme amount of heat in a confined space, lol. And I understand that LEDs are - in theory, at least - more efficient than HPS for growing plants. So I was just curious. Would you mind if people posted how many watts per square foot of lighting they used in their grows, and whether the strains that they grow are predominately sativa or indica? (If you DO mind, just let me know and I will see if I can have a staff member delete this post.)

when i saw your pictures without read your words,i thought i must be in a dream, and it's a wonderful dream:yesterday i saw those girls grow bigger, after i woke up,they already with beautiful flower......:volcano-smiley:
