For all those worrying about the weight and hanging their lights in tents.....

For your future tent purchases consider a Gorilla tent, yes they are more expensive, but rated to hold 300 lbs, plus the fabric material/zippers is MUCH thicker/durable then the cheap tents. My first tent was an LED WholeSellers cheap ass $80 dollar tent. I still use it, but small light, could not handle a Mars II and their beefyness and still not make me worried. May cost you more upfront, but in the long term they are worth it IMO.

I agree with the above, but if you're in the UK you might want to look at Hydrolab (not Hydrohut) tents. They are less than half the price of the Gorillas and have the exact same 25mm lockable steel frame, and can carry up to 100kg from the ceiling. I have a 5x5 and can highly recommend them :)

Temp problem. I have a mars 400w & a 1200w. Been using the 400 in veg tent & has done an excellent job getting my girls ready to go to the flower tent under the 1200. Did a dry run in flower tent & the 1200 runs a lot warmer than the 400 & temps rise very quickly. Anyone have heat issues with the 1200w light?

i have the exact opposite problem my 700w mars over heats my 3x3x6 veg tent but i have the 1200w in a 10x5 and its fine after i realized my veg tent over heated i bought a small 4in duct booster fan and some duct the fan runs 18-6 only when the light is an on dropped the temp down to 80ish give or take a few and the big tent is the same 80ish but the big tent has a big 6in inline fan comes on for 15 mins every hour works great for my temps

I think part of my problem is my exhaust fan is venting out the top into the room where tents are set up & is making intake air too warm. The room has ducted air con but is getting warm when the 1200 kicks in. I have a 5 inch exhaust with passive inlet & plenty of neg pressure. Iam going to duct exhaust to the roof & see if this helps with no hot air blowing straight to room. Do u reckon adding a inlet fan would help also?

I bet that just ducting the hot exhaust out will solve the problem.

The price on website is the best pricing they have at the moment. Sara said she would try to get us more discounts toward end of year.

I second that! Awesome tents! I have 2 4x4's

Mine is in a 4x4 foot tent with 2 other tents in a 15'X15' office. If i have ZERO air exchange between office and outside /rest of house it gradually rises to mid 80's. But with door open and window cracked it never gets above 80 in any tent. You need some exchange between room tent is in and outside the room.

It appears I missed UPS and their 5 packages today.....tomorrow is looking pretty freaking awesome!!!! 5 x 400w mars2!!!!!! Gonna be on like donkey Kong! I'll be sure to post lots of pics of my setup and the lights on my grow journal!

Thank you Sara & Topled!

Don't forget the welder's mask and sunscreen!

Thanks, I can leave the door open to rest of house no probs, but I'm not home during the day so can't leave windows open. Do you vent your exhaust air out of your office? I'm gonna vent exhaust air through the roof & se if that helps. Air con keeps the room tents are in at 75, but if I run the 1200 for twenty mins it goes up to 88-90 in the 4x4tent.Been runnin the 400w in the same room in the 3x3 venting into room last 6 weeks with no temp issues. This is my first grow with Led & they are the real deal, gonna veg another week or 2 & can't wait to see what the big LED does putting the girls into bud mode.

I'm having exactly the same trouble! The 1200 (and 900) out my tent temps up to 85 minimum. Not really sure what to do other than get a bigger exhaust fan? Would this work does anyone know? Heat issues freak me out!
