Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Well I'm not one to usually complain especially publicly and maybe things will work out hopefully .

I mean your right, complaining (Especially on forums) solves nothing and just makes you look a little b&^%y :)

BUT - Reporting on issues you are experiencing with a vendor in a responsible way is more like a community responsibility. At least this is so on the forums of my "Other" hobby - we are a bit more serious about it there!

Obviously Sara/TopLED have given themselves a good track record here - they overall seem to be doing a good job.

With that said - Practicing what I preach - I put in an order on the 1st. I have an order number but tracking does not work. Package missed my international boat on the 14th and will cost me another $55 customs/bribe fee to ship separately. I have emailed 3x about this in the last 5 days with no resolution. Last response was "I "Think" they may have changed our tracking number - please wait another week and if you do not receive let me know". Sh!t happens - Puravida......Chill - NP - I am sure it will be fine

I was a bit disappointed though with the fact that "I" had to look up my tracking number and supply it in an email to get even that last answer and another day later due to the time difference.........

Point here is that I think biz has taken off for these guys and they were not prepped for it....... not a BAD place to be in your biz model :) - So order a bit earlier than you may have currently scheduled in your project plan........

Well I know it doesn't help you a lot but at least my tracking number makes sense now. Yesterday it said it would be here by the end of the day but I knew that could not be right cause it was only generated the day before but it now has info about where it is and it will be here Tues by end of day. Keep the faith my friend. Good things come to those who wait......:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

i would be upset if i were you on the extra $55, honestly i wouldnt have it if needed to get my package across so i would be upset for sure. I will agree that they have a shotty payment method/system right now and im assuming its because like you said there business is taking off.

Personally i know of at least 55 lights from this site alone have been sold, and thats just what i know so i imagine its a huge number. Hopefully they will figure something out going further to make the process better.

Hehhe $55..... Small price for being an X-Pat and living in Paradise - all part of the dealio :) I am sure they will get it worked out and living down here has certainly taught me patience .........

I had also kept in mind delays so I did try and order in advance but I think I may need to add a week or two to what I had figured next time.

This thread has brought this vendor alot of business and was a smart move . I for one and for others we all made our purchase based on our search engines bringing us to this thread and that's when I jumped on board and became a member of the forum. So I'm sure they have there hands full .

Hi,

Has anyone had their lamps customized for order?

I am specifically talking about adding some 280-320 diodes to my lamp. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Yes, you can customize a panel with any diodes they have access to.

You'll have to deal directly with Sara, and it'll ship from China, so it will take a little longer, but the one member I know who customized his was happy with them.

You have to wait 2 months to get anything custom made. I was going to get a custom spectrum made but because they are so busy after their holidays it was not possible. I ended up getting their standard spectrum.

yes, our factory is too busy, so we do not have time to make custom light.
