I think you're thinking is absolutely spot on! More smaller lights to cover a space instead of less larger lights. Makes complete mathematical sense (which is my favourite kind of sense) and I think given the opportunity (and budget) i may have to apply your (and Icemud's) thinking too!

I have an existing 210w LED which I may use as supplementary light if the Mars 1200w fails to cover the entire area! I'm hoping that it is covered, as i would love to grow a ThinkDifferent Auto under the 1200w and hang the 210w vertically and pointed directly at it, would love to see what comes out of that grow!

Do you have a journal? I'd love to follow and see how you get on with your setup and light arrangement when you eventually decide what the best option is.

I don't have a journal yet. I just found this place and am going to pull the plug next week and order LITES!!!

I will take pics on renovating my sauna into a grow cab... pretty sure I can get the entire reno done for about 1100 bucks. And my freind Subcool said he would help me dial in the tech and is exited about me running all LED's and no HID. As we all have come to know, unless we have a/c systems, the HID lamps are just not practical for small grow.

I will keep you all posted on my purchase and I am not going through my genetics to find the plants I want to grow. I am looking at running Space Dawg trained into about 8 colas in each pot so they go up and not out. Space Dawg is really awesome genetics.

I got my tracking info :) light to arrive the 19th, got my new drII pro 60 tent sent up today, coco, nutes n air pots etc come in, seeds on the way too, whoa!! Can't wait!!! Oh and again thanks Sara! My older model 300w is keeping my current plant short and stout, just awesome :)
 
I'm glad you got something . I sent money weeks ago and have been very patient but I don't even have so much as an order # let alone a tracking #. Then I enquire about it and they don't even know and wanted to know when the date was the cash was sent . I had already gave that information multiple times.

I absolutely love my money being taken then forgotten about. I thought being patient and not complaining would help but apparently not in my case . If I don't get this taken care of "This" weekend , I'm going to have to dispute the charge with paypal. Not having the light already on its way is really messing things up for me I could have already had one here or on its way from elsewhere.

Not that im advising against this, certainly i would feel the same way but it is possible your light might be on its way. Depending on when you sent your money certain things had to be done, like getting the shipment through customs. Its currently 11:31pm for sara, so if i were you i would post your info here asking and then send a email to her. Hopefully in 12 hours you should have a response.

well have you been dealing with the same person or just using there company email? cause that could cause issues. And yeah it was Saturday morning i think when you responded to there email so they wont be able to respond till Sunday our time. i sent my payment on Friday after they closed so i wont receive anything till tomorrow night my time at the earliest.

If i may ask, when did you put your order in? NOT trying to make excuses for TopLed but the did just come back from a huge cultural holiday and they are doing a ton of business atm thanks to this site and its members, plus whatever else they got going on.

I don't think they will take it personally colcar, it sounds like you have a right to be frustrated, however as BlazinThat said, it's literally like China closes over their new year :) I actually find it quite fascinating, such a difference in culture....However, an auto responder email wouldn't hurt I must say lol! I had a similiar experience with my previous LED light supplier

Anyway, I hope it arrives soon, you must be absolutely itching to get your hands on it, I feel your pain bro! Positive thoughts :)
 
January 28th was when I ordered and I completely understand their holiday. Sara enquired about purchase date at 9pm last and I responded within minutes . Yeah that's what happened, to many people working to many angles, i only email Sara because i didn't want that to happen. Sorry to hear about this bro, hopefully Sara see's this tomorrow her time, hope she sorts this for you dude, i will keep it towards the top so she sees it tomorrow.
 
Well I'm not one to usually complain especially publicly and maybe things will work out hopefully . Just getting worried cause at the end of next week I have to leave for over 2 weeks to work overseas and my setup I just got my Arduino system up and going to take care of things while I'm gone such as auto watering when needed, temperature controll, automatic light raiser so long story short if I can't get my hands on my leds next week then I have no choice but to go about it with the small light I already have in there . I was just hoping to add these leds before I left.
 
Not trying to defend just want you to know what Blazin said is pretty much right on. Sara has been overwhelmed I am sure trying to get anything done while the country was on holiday but all in all did a really good job and I am waiting on my fourth light to be delivered and just ordered my 5th and am feeling a little of the frustration myself but I honestly do know that no matter the situation Sara will do her very best to sort it out. I also agree with Blazin that you should send Sara an email that she will see on Sun. as that is her Mon. and there is no doubt in my mind she will get things sorted out for you. It sucks the time differences too as it makes it seem as though they are not there very often but again there is no way they can control that but with that being said the holiday ended on the 7th and I am sure they are dong everything they can to get back on schedule as it truly has to be costing them a fortune for people to be unhappy so at least rest assured they only have forward moving motivation to get the lights to us. Wish I could give you definitive answers but I don't have them but hope it helps with the worry a bit....
 
Advice noted and I will send Sara an email to "her" inbox . I think the topleds are so far from what I see "the best bang for your buck" . So for the record I don't mean to be negative , I just would like to at least know what the status is of my order. So I'm going to just chill and let it play out. If I get them next week I will be grinning from ear to ear and if not then " it is what it is"

I remember when I bought my pg260 back in spring 2011 their weren't but a few companies at the time that sold good LEDS and my order took a month and a half to arrive which was disappointing . So in all fairness I should just wait and see , and give them time .
