It's part of Yahoo mail or gmail I think. Yeah you upload files kinda like cloud storage. And you can send people download links. It can be open or secure. But I wouldn't worry about security that much hell this is a public forum and the video is uploaded to YouTube to promote mars-hydro. So all things considered if your being watched or are afraid of being caught if its illegal where you are you already passed the point of no return ha-ha. No worries though drop box is solid.

Hi to everybody,
I need your help for my first try, on growing Malawi (reg.) seeds with a Mars II 900W .... the one with Growth-/Bloom-Switch. My Grow-Box is a 1x1x1,8 m tent, soil is "Canna Terra Pro. +"
The guys from ACE Seeds recommend the following:

"Indoors for growing small columnar plants or SOG, you should start from the clone or seed at 12/12 just a few days after the rooting. This sativa is highly recommended for SCROG, horizontal or network growing due to its excellent production of lateral branches and its vigorous reaction to pruning."

Anybody here who got some experience with the Malawi?
What do you recommend for the light periods? If you agree with the 12/12, should I switch on both, growth and bloom during the whole growth and bloom period?

I would very much appreciate your recommendations and help :)

Start with 18h days until the plants are big enough. Use hst and fim to help make them
Flat with lots of tips. Then switch to 12/12. Once in 12h day you will see preflowers soon. Watch for males and kill them quick if there are any. Then clone all the females and start again. Once first grow complete pick which plant was the best phenotype and clone it only from then on. Hope that helps 8-)
 
OK, thanks OttawaGreen. You wrote "Start with 18h days until the plants are big enough", but the Malawi will grow very high and my tent has only 1,8 meters hight, so my Plant should not grow higher than 1,2 meters.

Also, during the 12/12 period, should I swich on both, the grow- and the bloom-light or only the one for bloom?
 
I use both switches all the time.
Like i said I suggest you use HST to keep plants FLAT or your yield will be poor.
A stretchy sativa can easily be kept under 1m tall this way.

Here are two of my plants back when I was not running SCROG. They are sativa dominant and no problem to keep short with HST

Yeah super cropping is another word for it. I like to keep the plant as flat as possible with at least 10 tops per square foot. This is easily attainable with regular FIM and daily HST breaking flat.

Start a journal for your grow then we can help you out easier when we have all the details.

Go with the 1200 or 1600 for some amazing results. But the 900 will grow great stuff.
