:goodjob:thanks for sharing with us, gudyul. They two look very healthy!:circle-of-love:
high Stoney! I am using 0ne 1200 per plant( 3 square foot per plant) with two foot separation between lights. no C02. rdwc. going to add 150 watt uvb soon and maybe far red to up the "lights on" cycle to 14 hrs. the area between two

lights must be getting more watt/sq ft than the outside parameters

Well I posted a few days ago about my mars 2 700w. Well as it turns out it is not a light made up of 5w chips being under driven but 3w chips being slightly under driven. I bought 5w chips to replace some blues that were blackened but still working. They don't work. upon closer inspection I have found they are all 3w chips. the 660 reds should be four chips on the board but they are only one.I have severe back injury's with nerve damage. I am crippled well before my time. I am poor as dirt and these lights were an investment for the only thing that makes my life even a little livable. Had I known I wouldn't have wasted my money on the 5w replacement chips. I don't have a camera so I couldn't ask for them to fix it. though if I had done that I would never have found out they were only 3w chips. Oh well I will tear this light apart keep the case heatsink/fans and install some vero29's. I should have known. A deal to good to be true usually is. Good jobs mars teem.

Before I tear the light down I am going to order the 3w chips so I can prove it beyond a doubt.Besides I wont have the money to do the conversion for a few months.

Wow, gudyul, it looks very professional. Statistics matters most.:)
I keep popping off fan leaves as they mature cuz I have so many small bud sights and not big colas. I am thinking Imay have to keep trimming fan leaves if I want to get the deep penetration but not so much to stress them out. light are min aprox 15-18 inch max. I was using GH maxi but now I use a calmag 5-05 and a 05-50-10 , threw in some seaweed 0-0-15 and I am backing off on foliar as buds are showing up . Humidity around 40-60. Temp 75-85. ph 5.8-6.2 ppm around 1200 new batch-1700. Add pre mixed water as needed about 1/2 tsp gallon for all ingredients up to 2000. Also add some pond enzymes and some sugar water after PH. I may light foliar with silica( adding silica to res ups PH so might start with low PH water in foliar mix) then bump it up towards week 4-5 bloom. hit em with UVB (150wx 2) bulbs for 6 hours to induce thc and yellowing around week 4 of bloom. when I get my far red bulbs (15 watt x 2) I will run at sun down after lights out for 30 min. THen increase lights on to 14 hours. Hope I don't violate Murphy's law. Shooting for 1 gram /watt/90 day cycle. aprox 3x5 or 15 square foot 1000watts. 2 lbs? shut the back door! 1000gr/3 =330 gram /month or 165 gram per mars 1200 per month. 5 ounce per 1200 per month .15 hrs of light per day average. 7.5 kwh/day = 225kwh/month or 45kw per ounce per month.

How can you tell the difference between 3w and 5w chips? Just because your replacement 5w aren't working? Maybe the driver needs to be replaced and not the chips. Did you get epistar chips? I don't think other brands are compatible. When did you buy your unit, and was it through mars website? Sounds like an old model or knock-off; I highly doubt they would use 3w chips when they say it's using 5w.

agreed some amazing looking flower on display today! :circle-of-love:

Alright today I took off a crap tone of under and side growth. Wow I take of leafs everyday but just like one or 2. Today is day 21 of 12/12 so I did my big final prune and Mini lollipop. You can't even tell I took so much off. But the light is getting a lot farther down the canopy a lot easier. I can say with 100% confidence in will hit my goal. 300-500 grams. I'm thinking more around 400 grams.

I think you will be closer to that 500 mark

Most people give their HPS away once they try LED's. 30 to 50 watts per square foot becomes very real once it is tried and then proven. The old school thoughts of so bright I can't see and the more I cram into the tent with HPS the better will be fading into the past, HPS was the best of the best for a very long time. Times have changed and MarsHydro Led's prove it grow after grow after grow.

Along with 80 to 100 watts comes heat and humidity problems and before long you will be repeating all of the same problems that made HPS growing so expensive. Instead learn to control your LED grow and it will remain as simple as it gets with out breaking the bank and without skating on the edge of loosing control of your grow. More lights means bigger tents and more exhaust and cooling and it snowballs from there.

Temps in the 70s to 80s. Humidity is actually low. Had to add some. No temp issue or light burns 2 weeks in.

I think the funny part is when people who are guessing what might happen at 80wpsf are handing down their gospel to those of us who are actually doing it ;-P
