:bravo: wow, brian, thanks for sharing us your experience.:) It's very helpful. :yahoo:
Thanx for the compliment man, if your interested in seeing the entire grow from germ to finish you can follow my auto grow in the description i post pics weekly and have weekly vid updates as well.

For this grow i started with 1 reflector 48x3 at 18" i believ for germ with only veg lights on and turned the bloom lights on as the seedlings got a bit lanky (akward shapped tent didnt let me place any of them directly under the panel) but even with the bloom on i didnt like the way the plants were growing so placed them under the new Mars 144x5 panel at 24" from canopy and the plants exploded. i kept the light at the same height and with only veg switch on until i saw them start really flowering (autoflowers) and have really just let them grow into the light. my smaller plants i grew in soil is about 18" in flower while the coco grown plants have some buds as close as 4" (kills the coverage but those are the biggest buds you saw up in the pics) but my recommendations for the best coverage and intensity would be 24-30 inches for plant transitioning from other light source or seedlings, 18-24 inches for plants in veg, and 12-16 inches for flower. and finally the coverage i would say for flower is a 2x4 area, MAX maybe 2.5x4.5, for veg MAX 3x5. im no expert man this is just what i've learned from my experiance with these panels so far but hope it helps brotha :Namaste:

:circle-of-love: hello Stoney, MarsII1200w will be a good choice for 4'x4' grow area. :)
What mars light would be recommended for a 4x4x7 area I am only looking to grow 4 maybe 5 at a time wanting yield between all 4 at least 500 grams? Thanks for the help in advanced

:thumb: massive, there is one bud standing out.:cheesygrinsmiley:
I would recommend the Mars II 1600w or the pro series on sale epistar 320 or Cree 256
This is 2 pro 320's in a 5x10

One light came on today and then turned off after 20 or so , new light never came on , did not turn off this morning either ,
Until they get the remote figured out , I would be hesitant to purchase any of these , no matter how cool it looks , it has to work...

:circle-of-love:Hi, Stoney, 2pcs Reflector96 will be able to cover 4'x4 area during veg, during flower, they two can cover 4'x3'. :Namaste: Since you have HPS, why not add more light... :) You can supplement the light with HPS. They three will make up for each other. :circle-of-love:
This is what has me confused with the LEDs a 400 watt MH/HPS covers a 4x4 area no problem I been using for over a year now but 400 watt equivalent led one that draws 400 watts from the wall don't have the same coverage. Is that true?

:circle-of-love: hi flyboy, sorry about this, could you tell me more about it? After you plug it and resend the program, will the light work properly? Then the light will not work with the program again, you need to unplug it again and resend it. Hope we can work it out together. More details are apprecaited very much.:Namaste:
New light pro epistar 320 didn't go through its programmed routine again , had to unplug unit and resend program from remote , the remote issue has not been worked out , light is awesome, remote and programming are hit and miss.

:circle-of-love: hello CatfishKnigh, I wonder whether it works good or not. We are preparing for a instruction video this week. Any doubts, trouble or tips with the remote controller will be much apprecaited. :high-five:
Well on my 3 units were on sync for awhile. I have them slowly getting dimmer then shut off. One would shut off first then about 10 minutes later the 2nd one would go off, then finally the 3rd one about 15 minutes after that. So I pushed a different program on the remote and then the button I programmed. Now they are back on track... FOR NOW... LOL.

WOW, Klovneposen! I am speechless... My gratefulness for your post is beyond words.:party::party: This is very instructive and helpful. I will make use of it sometime in the future.:bravo:
i started posting in here with sara and you guys when i got my mars hydro lights. everyone is so helpfull to each other so i thought i would share something if anybody could at some point make use of it.

I identified spider mites at a point were my money was a bit low (after buying new MARS lamps :D) And i could not buy anything like neemoil or incetical soap. but i thought its better to do something than nothing. Put on my reading classing and my working boots and sucked all information from every reliable source i could find online.

So just to make this post a bit on topic. here is a picture of my flowering plants growing under my beloved MARS lights ;) yeah they do not look as healthy as they should but still way better then what you well see further down. i was battling a bit of spider mites in the last grow. from the strawberries in my garden and i tested out some homemade treatment. a mix of tobacco tea, a peppermint, aloe vera and rosemary tea and a homemade insecticidal soap made from small parts alcohol and some soap and water of course. i treated them for about 8 days from week 4 mixing the washdowns up with the different teas. gave them a couple of days rest and only clean water wash downs (checking regular with microscope and magnifing glass documenting a massive population decrease in both grown mites nymphs and larva and eggs there was almost nothing left alive) then released predatory mites (like a private militia) at about start of week 6 in flower 14 days after treatment start. It gave me a great result in my opinion really healthy plants at the end taking the treatment in to circumstances. the smoke is smooth and great no foul taste at all. All ingrients in the teas should be washed off after 20 minutes except the peppermint aloe vera rosemary mix. pictures are around week 8 of flowers on these plants.

Just to see how useful the different teas was, i took my small motherplant and the last two seedlings i was vegging when i found the spider mites. These plants got a treatment with the teas for about six days at the same time as the rest then i put them back in the closet while i finished bloom on the plants shown above.

The spider mite population now had a chance the slowely repopulate a bit until the plants reached 3-4 weeks of flower )so the infestation was about at same state, as the other plants when treatment was started. Then i released the predatory mites misted the room and plants to help them gain ground the first week or so.

Ok so i took the liberty to at the same time check a new feeding regime with the GHE hard water line someone told me i should try out. well it went as expected it was way to heavy, and of course i have just gone back to my regular regime to not mess to much with them. But look aside from that nute burn.
The pale leafs from mite damage is way worse on these two then the last run. so yeah i guess its better to do something than nothing :) but i don't worry these plants will be fine but not at all great. Not everything is bad i can make some fine bubble hash. And the 500 predatory mites are holding them at bay. but still way more mites here at end of week 6 and 5 then on the last run. i have removed so much damaged leafs from these to compared to the last run.

Well the result spoke quite clear to me. some people had told me that al the different wash downs would stress the plant at that stage. But the plants i only used water and pretetory mites on are looking way more stressed and damaged from not being treated. so the teas worked for me as hoped. The tobacco tea i think is good for damaging soft bodied larvas and young nymphs while the soap and alcohol mixed with water helped washing of those grown up mites and eggs. the smell of the peppermint and rosemary is actually really nice and plesant to the nose. i looked around the internet and some people spoke about spider mites hate the smell of it. so an organic teargas sort to say. the aloe vera is put in this foliar spray to add some Salicylic acid it help a wound heal it will also help the plant bounce back. biobizz actually made an aloe vera additive to their line of products.

I KNOW THE PICTURE RESOLUTION STINKS SORRY. will try to get slightly better shots tomorrow when its not the dark period.

:Namaste:

:circle-of-love:Hmm... Zombiewoof, I don't think it will come true in a short time, probably by the end of 2016.:high-five:
is that new light coming out without the remote & internal processor I want a on/off switch only model

:thumb: haha, Stoney, it's better choice. Have a try and welcome to join Mars family:cheertwo:
So I have made my mind up and am saying screw it and just getting the Mars ll 1200 just to make sure I have plenty of coverage. I think it is more than enough for 4 nice ladies.

:circle-of-love: thank you, flyboy. Get it. We will work it out.:circle-of-love:
