Mars Hydro Grow Journal TS3000: Chef's New 4x4

I'm So glad Chef G started a thread. I haven't been around much of late but might make a modest comeback of sorts.
And I’m glad you’ve found your way here! You always add so much content to any thread you’re in!

good work on the container deal. Those big pots get really really pricey. It can be tricky figuring out what to get on Amazon and what to search for locally. It’s nice to win sometimes.
I thought I would share one more photo. This is an auto strain called Blue Toof from Mephisto Genetics. I have to wonder what this plant in this 3 gallon fabric would look like now if it were in one of those 15 gallon plastic pots I just bought. She sprouted back on December 24th so is at sprout + 56 days today.
That Blue Toof got big fast huh?? Flip + 56 seems very young for how good that plant looks.

When it dries a bit it's contest-worthy. There is no cola of the month contest (nor nugget for that matter!).
I meeeeean... what else could nug (of the month) be short for??

Alright so,

I did it. I moved the larger flowering closet plants into the 4x4 with the Mars hydro TS3000. They got a dose of a nutrient solution that @Mr. Sauga helped me whip up. It consists of the three nute concentrates I mentioned before, (protekt , MC, BPN calmag).
I made it double strength for the flowering plants. They seem to really love it.. especially with all the extra light they’re getting now!

Here we have the babies in the small closet. They reeeeally took to the nutrients. I had a hunch they were hungry.
Clockwise starting top-left: LA Cheese, Chemdog, Garlic Sherbert, Xanadu, Grandpa Punch, Killer A5

last but not least, some shots of the BCP. Boy howdy, I’m excited for this girl. She stinks like candy, berries, and maybe a little something herbal.

Mr Sauga is nute wizard ain't he? Those flowering plants look great with all the added room to spread out, and the BCP is pretty snazzy looking!
:welldone:
Hey shed! Thanks! Yeah Mr. S really knows how to mix up a good plant soup. The flowering plants are much much happier to be in the large space. The BCP down front in particular looks very happy. I’ll probably do some defoliation in the coming days. I’m most happy with how the youngsters have gotten on track. Hate it when my new plants aren’t performing to their max and I know it’s my fault.
But now just look at the KA5H! She looks super happy now.

How do you get the babies out of those small fabric pots? Do they have a Velcro side you can peel open? My fabric pots start at 3 gallon and I don't think mine have any way to gently remove the plants. I just use those for autos so that's not a problem.

Your BCP is getting ready to start swelling and packing on the trichromes. She'll slightly lose some of that sweet aroma and add a hint of fuel which I know YOU will love.

I'm not so sure about that, lol, but thanks!

Thanks guys. I think with the added space and extra lights, the three things work well together. Looks great Chef!

Can I ask you, I know we’re approximating a ratio with various floating point decimals. If you double and triple does the ratio change negligibly? Or are you better off recomputing from a higher MC base value?
And thank you!

You squeeze the sides a bit when they get very dry. Then you push up from the bottom. I’ve done it a million times. They don’t have Velcro but that would be extremely handy.

Yeah I’m very pleased with how the BCP looks. I hope she does swell I good deal, that would be awesome. Fuel instead of fruitier would be fantastic. I hope it does turn out like that.

The BCP doesn't produce really big buds but a lot of medium and small buds. Mine always need supporting on most of the branches.

I fell slightly behind, Chef. It was fun catching up (to a point).

All of your babies look happy and healthy and that BCP is mouth-watering.

My enjoyment of your updates was somewhat tempered when I got to the point that described how "someone" is trying to corner the nute-mixing market. What next? :reading420magazine:

Nice looking plants I also run the ts3000 def pulls some frosty buds
Thanks for checkin me out Jack. This is my first go with the TS3000. It’s a monster upgrade from my dinky 240w Amazon CoB panel. I should get some nice fat colas now. That grandpa glue though, it frosts up super early.

Frosty AF bud! :thumb:

maybe I’ll get some decent yield off these plants then, instead of just the seeds I was planning for in the closet.

I’m sure they will do great !!
Will be nice to fill up the grandpa and It’s It Punch jars again. I think I’ve just got a bit of shake on the bottom of the GG jar... so that’s dire. I think I’ve got like a half zip of the It’s It Punch still.
