Maine 4-Season Greenhouse Grow

Your girls are looking amazing! It's going to smell incredible around there before you know it!
That's the beauty of autos....they are in full flower for all of July...

I can't navigate through the GH without brushing up against the plants..actually considering a smock so I can put it on for GH work...my wife is saying I reek of cannabis...like that is a bad thing...;)

Like smelling like cannabis is a bad thing??? (unless you are driving and get pulled over)
In Maine you can be driving with 2.5 oz on your dashboard....:)

And I'm talking the "I just harvested" not "I just burned one"....

I wouldn't want to give cops a reason to mess with me.....I prefer not to provoke them. I will bring some with me when I might go somewhere (just incase a back spasm hits) but I keep hidden from sight.

GH Update:

Hot outside...cooler in the GH...figured time for a major undercarriage defol and general cleanup...

Few group shots ...

Kushberry on her pedestal next to Blueberry...

Blueberry...

DTF...

Carnival...one top shot where I am LST to try to keep her under 8'....

CB Cream and Cheese...

Stankberry in 30 gallon...

Stank berry in 45 gallon....ATF in back and Critical to right...

ATF and Blueberry and Kushberry ...bonus plants cloned from big girls....

Worm bedding :)

Likewise...I hardly drive at night...those days are past for me....my point was you could. I like knowing my rights, but am always "yes sir, no sir" when it comes to LEO...I have been let go for many egregious transgressions simply based on that attitude....

I haven't left the State of Maine in almost four years! That is a luxury for me....I used to travel a lot and love staying local.

Beautiful defol on the grow and the GH is banging it. Hold on to your hat
Indeed...we cut down a lot of (weak) trees on our farm and people cry...they don't realize the remaining trees becomes much stronger...I am already looking forward to the 2019 summer grow in our bigger GH with 65-gallons...this is all good training (pun intended)...

I did TSI aka Timber Stand Improvement when I was younger. We would go in and kill ornamental trees and Softwoods along with wild Grapevines. That allows the healthy Hardwoods to grow to their potential.

Hi Blew we are expecting extreme high heat this weekend. In to the hundred with heat/humidity. Imagine you will get much the same.

I was wondering what you do for you babies in this situation?

Do you cover the glass maybe (other than the vents)? Put an a/c unit in there?

Yea the forest is healthier without all the trash trees
There is a cool book called 1491, basically documenting American History before the Europeans really made a mess of it. The Native Americans used fire to keep the forest in check...Europeans said they could drive coaches through them...they also preserved the trees with mast (oak, chestnut, beech, etc) for food...we have old lithographs from 1790 of where I currently live...for miles around all the trees were cut down...it was in vogue..."civilized"...most of America now is shitty secondary forest growth.../end rant/

Wow blew..Your GH is looking mighty fine... your gonna need to make a map so you can navigate that jungle. Looks top notch
I have a lifeline from the front to the back and I just keep one hand on it at all times....

I heard rumors of that but even now the weather says high of 75...I think this front (which is bringing an inch of lovely rain to us) is pushing it away from me...even if it was 90F I would leave the GH as is...the air moves and the plants breath and they are fine...I would make sure they weren't overly thirsty, but they routinely hit 100F (at peak on sunny days) and are fine. The ones up there now have spent their entire life in a temp range of 50-95F...and they seem to love it. I've seen lot of talk here about optimum temps...I think all plants expect a range since that is what happens in nature, thus part of their DNA...

But remember to hydrate and stay in the shade if you are getting hit with that wave...
