Maine 4-Season Greenhouse Grow

I have no experience with plants of that size... But if I was in your shoes, my gut says to water as much/often as you can since they are just starting to bud and using all the energy/nutrients they can get.. Is the humidity still high?

My thinking as well...I get the reasoning behind not watering them too much in veg, but these are 30-gallon pots packed tight with roots...

I appreciate my childhood more and more every day.

I appreciate the importance of childhood more and more...My parents were old school (kids should be seen, not heard) so i had to learn a lot the hard way in my youth....hoping to convey some of that to my kids and save them some hassle along the way.

Well, I am experimenting with the watering. I watered yesterday and went up there today to spin the pots...some felt like they hadn't been watered so I checked and they were all somewhat dry...so I figured I'd try to give them another watering...they took it all just like yesterday...all their pots are tight (with root ball) so I am wondering about my watering schedule now...every other day? More?

I wanted to go to a 3day water plan, myself, but with temps above 90f for the 3rd day in a row, I have given her water every day until temps drop.

We need to re-evalute society's definition of "success"...working overtime to keep up with minimum payments is insanity...no time for family or life as it should be...more music videos need to be about about saving money, avoiding debt, eating right, getting a good night's rest, telling someone you love them, growing high grade cannabis....:p
So true ! All i can say is mine would not listen to me and with some help from his want to be friends is in jail again and this time looks like a few months 8-10 :( I am so without a friend here hes 19 !! I assured him it will get better one way or the other OK thats enough from my side . Grown ON !! :goodjob: Blew !

kids should be seen, not heard

that's my old mans favourite line lol their trust was hard to gain and easy to lose and you always knew your actions had consequences, good or bad, it was on you. I hope when we have kids I can impart the same onto them, but like Preston said, harder and harder to do when they're exposed to the jack-wangs of other parents.

I forget who said it, but roots equal buds... Gotta feed the roots so they can build the buds.
I've always used the finger method for my veggie gardens... Stick a finger in, if it doesn't feel moist I give them a bit of water.
i think you would rather them get a little drink of water everyday, than run the risk they dry out too fast on you at this critical stage of bud building.

but what do I know! I'm sure van will chime in soon! He knows his monsters lol

My kids look at me like I'm nuts when I get on em about crap like that. But, damn! It's getting harder & harder because they're exposed to all the other brats at school again now. Even the school administrators are catering to the kids.
As technology keeps progressing, making it easier to be lazy, it's only gonna get worse. Kids need butterfly nets & bb guns, not tablets & cell phones.
:passitleft:
Thats what i had and LOVED IT !! I raised my son mostly by myself with help from my Dad >> But parents do just let them run wild and the good old babysitter TV,Games , Computers

You couldn't if you tried...packed roots. I use a little green meter probe to test and it said dry...I'm going to give them plenty...

that's awesome, don't forget root ball pics at harvest! If you can get them out Lol I actually bought one of those meters this year.... And I totally forgot I had it....o_O:ganjamon:

Hiya BH,

I do know the bigger growers say to not let roots dry out during flower. That's what I've always gone by.

Too many soft, stupid, people with no sense breeding this very minute.....they are the Zombie Apocalypse.

You nailed it!! I have a hard time believing how fast our country's people have no common sense, or chose not to have. Sickening!

Agreed agreed agreed! I can’t stand kids these days and it’s the parents fault. New generation of entitled, non motivated snow flakes. And I’m a retired social worker with an adult child. I’m so glad to hear y’all raising your kids right...less zombies more creativity! When I see a great kid out in the world, grocery shopping or camping etc. I tell that kid they are special and to keep up the good work. I often give the parents a high five as well! #whatgrindsmygears

Well, I think the plants are liking things so far...I went up again to the GH and did a double take...the DTF is stacking hard!

The branches are sideways because I had to bend them down to camera level!

Shall we call it a StankStack?

Our kids get that all the time...a bit sad that it's so rare that people compliment you on raising your kids properly! It's always the generation older than mine that comments on my kids manners ("so polite")....they know it's all been downhill since the Great Generation.

Without a doubt.

Had a family this summer stay for 4-days...horrible all around...the first contact I had with them (before all the dumb pre-arrival questions, which could they could have easily answered with a little Google, reading, and brain power) was..."door won't open"..."light is green...nothing happening"...this is a family of four, looking at a door (in a cottage on a farm in Maine) and after entering the 4-digit code...the door didn't automatically swing open. I was at dinner with my family...I texted "turn the knob"...."ok, that worked!"...I kid you not...now I have a label on the deadbolt that says "turn knob"....like the "hot contents" on the coffee cups for the idiots in the herd. Their first instinct, as a family unit, was to whine-text. This family left us our first non-5 star review (out of 50+)...3-stars...they felt entitled to cast their opinion that the "heat wave made for a rough stay" ....only about 5% of homes up here have a/c...our cottage does...but for them it just wasn't cool enough...

Hahahahahaha.. fuck.. snowflakes

I water basically every other day in flower.......not as much each time, but more frequent.

I'm in So Cal w/ perfect sun every day. So for me the watering depends on the season. Around Solstice I water daily sometimes twice, outside the plants in the ground. I grew one GG4 in a pot that I just cut, getting more, much more than anticipated, dry weight we'll see. At the height of the June sun I water the pot 2X times daily and slug in organic nutes whether they leak out or not. I also never worry about nutes for ladies in the ground. As one of my 420 cronies put it: water, nutes, water, nutes....and then we are done. Never ever skimp on water, nutes, or patience.
