Coco is pretty forgiving. Either way Is fine I'm sure. Cal/mag is most important but I also add base nutes, super thrive and great white to precharge my coco before putting seeds/clones and transplants. It's a ml or two of base and cal/mag in 3liters of ro.

Sorry to hear about your troubles but I guess everything happens for a reason. Even if you never truely understand that reason trust in the universe. Let it play out. Who knows what will happen.

Thanks, everyone, for the sentiments. I just feel so damn lost. 10 years we've put into this relationship, and she leaves because she misses other people in Sault Ste Marie. She said it was 50% missing the Sault, 50% me. She said that she cannot deal with my obsessive compulsive disorder, but she knew about that from almost the beginning. Hell, she was sitting beside me the day I got diagnosed! So what changed that suddenly, now, she cannot deal with it anymore when she's been dealing with it fine for years, I wonder. I"m just so pissed at her right now I cannot even stand it. I tried calling my sister to talk about it with her, but had to hang up the phone because I couldn't stop crying. First time I cried since Ginette told me the news, and it has to happen on the phone.

Transplant is done. Thanks for all the info. I'll have to keep it in mind the next time I transplant into the 5 gallon fabric pots, which still haven't arrived, I might add. Damn, I hate waiting on Amazon companies who don't know much about how you treat clients. That goes for my pH meter, too. Ordered 16 Dec 16 and it still isn't here.

Damn. Damn damn damn damn damn.

I feels so damn angry right now.

Okay, so here's my update. Had a hard time getting the motivation to take these pics. Wonder why. Whatever. Ginette was in the kitchen crying her eyes out. I walked in on her, asked what was wrong, knowing full well what it was but wanting to open the lines of communication. Wanting to give her a chance to bridge that gap and let me in. But she said, at first "Nothing." I countered by saying "Of course something is wrong." To which she added, "I'm just sad." Nothing more. No chance of communicating. No chance of talking. She thinks she's such a great communicator, but she's not, really. Not really. She closes up inside when she's in pain and won't let me in. Just like now, when she was crying. Instead of opening herself up to a good conversation about how we are each feeling, she closed down.

Whatever.

So on to the pics.

And I forgot, with everything that has happened in the last 24 hours, to mention that I got my tent set up! 5x5x6.5 luscious rooms! Will move my girls into it once they are a bit older, and when my scrog is set up. The scrog is exactly 4x4 that I picked up, and I think I'm just going to get bungee cords to use to hook it right to the bars that frame the inside of the tent. Seems like the easiest thing to do. And that way I can adjust my scrog as needed, and don't have to get into building anything out of wood or some other such material. Just a coupe of one foot bungee cords. 4 to be exact. Easiest scrog setup I've ever seen!

hey Magnus, there's not much we can say that will change anything that has happened but know that we are all here to help you through the situation in anyway possible.

Just stay positive and know that things happen for a reason, there might be a bad situation now between you two, but it could turn out to be something positive in the end.

the tent looks awesome! I mean that's gotta bring you a little bit of happiness .. the ladies will love the room for sure. you're well on your way now!

Hey, got a question.

How much weed can I expect from four plants, considering that 2 of them are Big Buds, if I flower them early?

Here's what I'm thinking:

Scrap the scrog idea and send them into flower at about 5 or 6 weeks. That'll give the big buds time to catch up a bit in their growth. Start a couple of seed pretty soon and grow them to the same size as the clones I'm gonna take from the girls just before I flip them into flower. That'll give me about 8 plants (4 seeds + 4 clones) at roughly about the same size, that I can start growing while the current girls are into flower. Once the current girls are done flowering, the new ones will be ready to send under the scrog. Then I'll have 4 - 6 plants for the scrog, and two to grow alongside the scrog, in the sidelines.

Here's the breakdown:

1) Grow 4 seeds, starting in another week when my girls are 4 weeks old.
2) At 5 weeks, take 1 clone from each current plant, giving me 4 clones to grow. This gives me 4 seeds + 4 clones.
3) At 6 weeks, send my current 4 girls into flower. This gives me 4 seeds + 4 clones growing, plus 4 girls in flower.
4) At harvest, approximately 8 weeks into flower, send 6 plants under scrog and into flower and 2 plants just into flower, but not under scrog (there'll be no room).

Will harvesting my current 4 girls early give me enough weed to last me until the scrog and the other 2 girls are done? Approximately 8 weeks of weed. I am not a heavy user. I smoke maybe 2 times, maybe 3 times per day. Early morning and early and late evening.

What do you all think? Do you think I'll have enough to last me 8 weeks untl the scrog is finished growing?

I know I'm asking a lot to answer, and maybe there's no right answer. It is just that I've never grown before and I have no idea how much weed 4 plants (remember, 2 of them are big buds!) will give me.

I've got to get some pain relief fast, and I certainly cannot afford to buy it from anyone. I'm getting desperate. And this new course of events has got me thinking I could use some for relaxation and a pick me up purposes...

You know, Kush, I do believe that everyone here is very, very supportive. It's kind of overwhelming just how much support I've been getting on this thread and another I'm involved in (one of SweetSue's threads, of course. That woman is truly amazing!). Thank you for your support, too, and the supports of you all. I truly appreciate it.

Tonight she asked if she could take it all back and not say what she said. Which goes to your comment, Kush, that ALL WOMEN ARE CRAZY!!! (emphasis mine). At least all the ones I've gotten mixed up with have been. The healthy ones -- and I do believe they exist out there, somewhere, maybe over the rainbow? -- elude me, and always have. But to take it all back? Like she never said what she said? How can I ever trust her again to stay with me after THIS big fuck up? And of course I said,"Sure sweetums, like nothing ever happened, right? Nothing, nothing, nothing at all. Now how in the hell am I supposed to trust her again?

I told her, again, that this was her depression talking. She's been out of her meds for a week now, unwilling to drive to Vegreville to pick them up. So tomorrow I'm going to make the trip, even though I'm terrified to death of driving, especially in winter (because of my anxiety disorder, driving is the ultimate hell) But I've got to pick up those meds of hers, if only to save my own ass in this relationship. I cannot keep going on with her telling me she's leaving me on a whim because of her own unmedicated depression.

I don't know how much you'll get but we planted 5 Hash Plants last spring and the final yield was 420 grams, which was kind of perfect, in my opinion given it was our first grow. :smoke2:

My husband wants me to tell you that Crop King estimates 150 grams per plant.

Thanks so much. That's exactly the kind of answer I was looking for. Pass a message on to your hubby for me, "Thanks Dude -- you ROCK!"

As for yesterday, I think a lot of what my wife said when she said it was over had to do with her being out of her antidepressant for over a week. When this happens, as it often does considering our money problems, she gets really scary. Says things she doesn't mean. Starts fights and terrible arguments. All kinds of things. I think her depression came back in full force the other night and she said what she did.

This doesn't excuse what she did to me, the effect she had upon me. But it does go somewhere in explaining WHY she did it.

After askign last night if she could "take it back," it's as though everything is back to normal. All is great and she's her wonderful self, no interest in leaving me (so she says).

It's like being on a seesaw. It's like a rollercoaster, waiting for the next bomb to drop.

But we bought her antidepressants today. I picked them up myself and brought them home.

As an aside, I'm seriously thinking of sending these plants into flower earlier than I had expected to.... One thing thisi event taught me is that I need some cannabis around the house!

The first pic is one of my 4x4 scrog I pickep up at my store that I love so much. See how well it is made? Strong, sturdy stuff it is made of. Good and stretchy, too. Can't wait to try it out, whenever that may be...

The second pic is one of two of my ten cloth bags that came today. TEN of them for $8.50, from Ebay, some company in China (where they're all probably made, anyways, right?) I'm not sure how good quality these are, but I'll find out on my first grow, won't I? I may buy 10 more to accompany these. Don\t want them to become lonely, now, do I?

EGADS -- Jeezus! You cannot see that scrog if yer life depended upon it? Now why your life would depend upon seeing my scrog, I don't know. Not unless some Columbian coke lords were holding you hostage, trying to get you to disload the whereabout of my infamous scrog for their own nefarious purposes, or some such thing. And you know, I've used the word "nefarious" more in my life than ever before since writing "Finding Max" because there's one character, Quinn, who has nefarios purposes in find Max himself... But that\'s anotehr long, dreary story in itself. Not that Finding Max is dreary. Far from it. It's quite a good book. You know I wrote it, don't you? But of course you do! I keep telling you that!

I'll try to take a better pic of the scrog.

Once this seedlings take off, you will surprised as to how quickly that scrog net will fill up, especially if feeding the coco multiple times a day!

I posted some new pics of my ladies at day 42 of flower currently, take a look if u have a minute .. It's getting frosty .☃️

Thanks, man! I appreciate it. The tent was a bitch to set up. Don't know if they all come like this, but the fabric part came in one piece, and I couldn't figure out which way was up, which way was front, which way was down, freakin' mess. I finally got the frame together and got the fabric over it, and it was upside down and backwards for where I needed the door to be. The entire room is only 6.5 feet wide, and the tent is 5 feet wide, so turning it around and over upside down meant taking the support bars inside (which were all in two pieces) apart from each other and letting the tent collapse while I was inside it, then scramble out and twist and turn and roll it over and oh my gawd! What a fuckin' mess!

But I got 'er done.

Yeah, I'm psyched. I love the thing. Can't wait to move my baby girls inside it, but have to wait for about 2 weeks until I can get the automatic feeder built. At least, that's the plan, anyway.

My wife-bot is the mechanic/masterbuilder/handyperson around the house. This is what she's planning on building for me:

1) A very large tray on the floor, or a series of trays. This tray is inclined from one corner down to another corner so liquids gather in that one corner.

2) A very short frame holding a galvanized steel (a light one, but sturdy) flat.

3) On top of this galvanized steel top, sits the four 5-gallon fabric pots with the plants.

4) above this, attached to the frames of the tent, sits the elastic scrog that I put pics of on my journal tonight.

5) A 5-gallon pail sits on the floor beside it all, holding the nutes/water.

6) A timed pump pumps nutes/water from this resevoir into the fabric pots 4x per day.

7) The water drains out of the fabric pots from all sides and the bottom onto the galvanized steel sheet, where it drains into the tray below the short table.

8) Another timed pump pumps the runoff back into the resevoir.

9) The system rests and begins again several hours later.

Kush had some great ideas for it, so it might not be exactly as I've written it up there. But that's the basic idea. Apparently, it's a common enough thing to do with plants. There's even a name for it: Flood and Drain. I must sound so naive to all of you on here, but please understand that this is my first time doing this. I've never had anything to do with gardening or agriculture before, so I'm a real newbie. Please understand. And don't think badly of me for it.

Weather is supposed to be 6 degrees above zero Celsius for the next couple of days. For you Americans, that's 6 degrees above the freezing point of water. In other words, it's supposed to be VERY nice!

And Hempfest is coming up on March 11&12, and I've decided to take my ass and drive the 2 hours into Edmonton to go for the 11th. I'm trying to convince my nephew to come with me. He just got licensed medically for 2 grams per day of cannabis, and I'd like him to agree to let me grow for him. I could use the cash, that's for sure. I don't know if he'll go for it. He's very private and kinda weird. He hasn't even told me he's been licensed already, hasn't told me he was trying, even though he knows I'm about to be licensed. But I"m hoping that if we go to Hempfest together one thing in conversation will lead to another, etc etc.

Anyway, it's time for me to eat my bedtime cookies and go to sleep. Hope you're all sleeping with the angels.
