Magnus, forgive me for being so late in getting to you, but I recently watched a Cannabis Health Summit that had a panel of women on cannabis topicals. These were women with the top award-winning topicals on the market in California and Colorado, and one of them offered the formula, in rough form, that they use in their Sweet Cream.
60% THC, 40%
THCa, with a tiny bit of CBD added.
This formula heals skin conditions ranging from sunburn to melanoma, and relieves pains up to a level 7 or 8. She has a patient who healed her Glioblastoma by rubbing it on her neck.
I have a blog of a
THCa extraction that may come in handy in this case. My plan is to make an extraction and then combine my high THC oil with this one in ratio with a little of the high CBD oil on hand and then use this formulation in Dave Groomer's recipe for a healing pain cream.
My brother-in-law has neuropathy developing in his feet and walking anywhere is painful for him now. The women were unanimous in their praises of the ability of their creams and topicals to heal diabetic neuropathy with consistent daily application of the creams to the feet and legs, morning and night. It may take weeks, but the effects appear to be guaranteed.
I didn't find out what this plant could do for a diabetic until they'd already taken his leg and he was too close to the end to effect positive change. We're eternal creatures, but our time here has limitations, and it was his time to move on. My hope is that I can do for his brother what I couldn't do for him.
I'll keep you all in the loop as his treatment continues.
Dearest Sue,
You had me in tears by the time I got to the end of your posting. You didn't even have to mention who you were talking about at the end for all of us to know who you were talking about. That's the part that almost made me cry.
I am thrilled with this news and am really interested to learn more about this cream formulation.
I haven't told you this before but I, too, live with diabetes and have for the last 20 or so years. I also suffer from diabetic neuropathy in my feet and hands (it has only recently affected my hands, like within the past week). I've been told by numerous doctors that there was nothing to be done for it, but I believe you more than I believe them.
I will be testing my own cream of this. Maybe you might like to share the recipes you try out as you go along so that we may replicate or adjust as necessary. I'm sure they would help many.
On another note, things have quieted down in my life a bit. Well, not really. I still have my summer grow to get moving. I was supposed to have a friend come and dig holes in my yard for planting today, but it is pissing cats and dogs here right now, so I suppose I won't get my holes dug today. Ah-well. Better luck next time, Charlie (as in Charlie the tuna). I'm scheduled to plant on May long weekend (perfect planting time and weather according to the Farmer's Almanac which everyone lives by out here). Yes, yes -- I know the Almanac is just astrology, but I believe, yes! I BELIEVE! in miracles, I do! Actually, I"m more of follow the Jones kinda guy. Maybe. Anyway, I'll be planting on that long weekend when the frost is surely over in this region (growing region 3b). Then I've got to figure out my watering problem. I've got to haul water from my landlady's home to my own because my water is so terrible. For that, my little brother has secured an old 151 gallon hot water tank that he's going to outfit with proper fittings for me to be able to fill and empty it. I'll empty the hot water tank into barrels where I can make Compost Tea and pH my water (more people say to do it than not and I'm not set on having a completely organic grow so I'm leaning towards pHing my water). I'm also building a greenhouse on the cheap to hide my grow behind it and a shed on my property. I@m not too terribly concerned about flyovers, just drive bys!
I've also got editing on Finding Max to continue working on. My editor and I are on Chapter VIII. I'm also working on writing the sequel, Loving Max and then when finished I'll be writing the last book in the series, Killing Max. I hope to have both books done by the end of this summer, as well as the first book completely edited and on the way to publication.
I'll also be doing an inside grow, but not a scrog this time. I'd like to see what happens with about 8 plants inside my tent if I had an extra LED. My current 2 LEDs are pretty weak. No way they are actually 600w and 1000w like advertised. I'll be lucky to be getting 400w from my 1000w lamp, I'm afraid. So I'd like to pick up another 600w cheap lamp and use the 2 600w lamps in the tent and move the 1000w lamp into the closet. 2 600w LEDs which are actually much lower than that should still be able to feed 8 plants in a tent. Maybe even 10 plants at a time. My prescription (which was just increased last week to 5 g/day of cannabis) allows for me to be growing 25 indoor plants at a time, OR 10 plants outdoors at a time. Well, I'm breaking the law it looks like and going a bit over that with a few more plants than I'm allowed. Why? Because I'm so worried that it won't work out well. I'm still afraid that my grow will rot at the root or get mold in it or some parasite that decimates the whole harvest. That's why I'm growing more than I should be allowed. And only this year, to see what I can do with this grow, will I be growing more than my allotted share.
Why am I going on about all my crap this morning? Probably because it is all so present in my mind. I've so much to do that it's unbelievable, actually. Like, how am I going to get my water tank from Edmonton to where I live? It's a loooong drive and my vehicle is too small. I'll need a trailer to do it. And I've got a trailer coming. My buddy BJ is fixing one up for me to hold the water tank. I'll use the water tank and trailer to haul water from my landlady's farm up the hill to my home and my grow. I've just got to learn how to back up a trailer now... And I've got to get that trailer set up to drive on the highway, too. Legal, that is.
And then there's the writing and all that entails. Jeesh. What a summer this summer is shaping up to be.
As I said above, I have no idea why I'm dumping all this crap on everyone right here and right now. Like I said, I guess I just have too much going on for me right now and I cannot keep it in.
Well, the dog just came in from outside and she's wet as a platypus. I think a platypus would be wet, wouldn't youk? Mind you, I've never seen one outside of photos before, so maybe they don't live wet lives. But Molly, my dog, is living the wet life right now. She just came in and rubbed herself all over my leg and soaked my bathrobe at the same time!
So, I bid you all adieu. Hope everyone following is still well and I hope you're having better weather than we are here today.
Best,
Magnus.
