Madtabmans 1st diary with Mimosa x Orange Punch

I wouldn't flush just yet, but I would drop the ph of your feed to 5.8.
@Bill284 is who you should ask about problems in coco though.
Your pics look a bit yellow now compared to the earlier ones. I've encountered that problem with some LEDs. Makes the plants look washed out when their colour is actually fine.
Can you adjust the white balance on your camera/phone?
I'm not sure about the camera white balance. I'll have a mess with it later when I get home.

Hey Mel thanks for the tag.:thanks:
Good morning @Madtabman :ciao:
Coco has a couple simple parameters to follow.
Always feed full strength nutrients daily to run-off at 5.8 ph.
Never any plain water and never let your coco get dry at all.
Sometimes I feed twice a day in flower.
And you need to put calmag in your plain water first, before the nutrients.
Lastly always set ph to 5.8.
Follow these simple coco rules and your girls will be happy.
I use a lot of perlite in my coco for aeration.
Check my Heaven's Shores thread for pictorials and tips.

I'll hang out and help if I can.

Thanks @Bill284 . When I said "flush" I actually meant run off. I haven't been doing runoff because I was scared of over watering so that's why I am worried about the nute and PH levels in the coco. As I'm new to seedlings. I always do run off when I'm growing but as I said new to seedlings. Is it OK to do run off on the really early watering times like when the seedlings are super super small?

You need to give the tap root something to chase.
So always water to runoff.
Sometimes it’s easier to water babies with a turkey baster.
Water the outside edges and the roots will shoot out looking for nutrients.
Then when they get big runoff keeps the root zone clean and free of debris so you never need to flush.

I'll do this tonight. Thanks 😉

Early stages 400 - 600 ppm.
And increase as they grow.
But the schedule for those nutrients should have a week by week breakdown with mixing instructions.
Don’t have an ec ppm conversion chart handy, you need one?
Do you have the feed schedule for Canna?

Yeah it's around 1.3 - 650 ppm But was wondering what your opinion was
That’s perfect.
As long as they are growing well and the color is good carry on. :thumb:

The one in the top right is the only one of 5 seeds that survived the riot rooter in a heated propergator method. She's leggy and I think the rooters have something to do with that. from a new to seed grower I can say I will definitely NEVER be using riot rooters again. 2 of the seeds tap roots were just sitting there on top of the cube. It was like they couldn't push down through the cube. I DONT LIKE THEM
i say just put them straight in the coco next time, and see what happens. that what i do now. sometimes it takes a day or two longer if i plant it too deep, but ive had good success with that. are those genetics from barneys farm? i love their stuff. ill be along for the ride.

So ive had a few minor issues which i think was caused by my ph being to high. It was something i read that it was best to keep ph around 6.2 to 6.4 in coco just after germinating i dont know for sure but maybe that caused the defficiencies. I've transplanted to 15L pots now and moved them to the 5x5 tent under the maxibright 660w pro. And after 24 hours they already look happier. Although im not an expert I'm not impressed with the MIGRO light that I've used in the seeding stage. I'm not sure why to be honest. I used the maxibright last time for seedlings and they just looked happier. It might just be how they looked in the different light. But anyway.... I'm at 300umols 5.8 ph 1.3 EC at the minute, I'll give them a few days and start upping the EC and light umols

So everybody's looking happier now. No signs of any issues on new growth I've trimmed away a little of the older growth that was damaged by the earlier defficiencie issue. I'm still running at 300-325 umols. I've put 20 litres of feed in my autopot rez 50ml AB, 20ML CALMAG 20, ML CX WILTGUARD 1.6 EC, PH 5.7.
I also added some Mills vitalise which I got as a free sample, I've never knowingly used any kind of silicon before. I put in 0.2ml per liter before any other nutes as recommended.
I'm not sure whether to give another top feed or put them in the auto trays and switch the rez on.
1 main point that's still getting my attention is the way the one looks with the real jagged edges. (1 of 3 Anesia scout cookie) But she looks happy I think 🤔🤔

Ok so ive upped a few things tonight. I've turned the maxibright 660 to 50% it's hitting the plants at 500 umols for now and see how they go. I'd try a little higher right now but I'm still dubious about the back right plant. It just looks strange to me 🤔🤔. I will up the umols over this this week gradually though. All the nutrients are the same as last week.

Growth and shape look good. :welldone:
But color looks off. :Namaste:
Is it the lighting in the pic or are they hungry?
