Lost In The Fog

It's great you got so much confidence in my skills @AngryBird , but I bought it in my favorite store. Biltema. :)
They use it to fix cars??? Kneeling into engine? You are a smart but crazy scientist.. So why not?!

Y'know Crazy, as much as I tease you about your light cooling project, you make better and more productive use of your spare time than 90% of the world's population, and 100x more than I do. :thumb:

Thank you Shed! That really got to my heart! :high-five:

You make me almost afraid to upload more pics of my mad projects... :battingeyelashes:

The fact is I think you have a much more social life than I got. I love my tools and all my dumpster shit more than most people I know. 99% of the people I know are fake and are more interested in their own agenda and greed than others well being.

Now on to this evenings project. The new pump needs a bigger tank. The other tank I had was not built with high flow in mind. Both intake and outtake was in the same level therefor the pump just spun air round the system without letting it settle in the tank. Got hold of a acrylic pipe at work some time ago it's 65mm in diameter and 180mm in height. Placed the new holes with a few cm apart so the air can escape in the tank without being trapped in the suction and just dragged around. Going to glue one side of the pipe and keep the threaded open for filling. One step closer.

I used one when I was polishing cars at a Peugeot dealer when I started working. They are great to ride round a car with when polishing the lower section. They use it at car body shops all over the world.

Crazy mad scientist. Talk about that, I'm going to take a pic of all my mad scientist lab equipment I got hold of when the laboratory at work was renovated a few years back. Lots of cool stuff u could build bongs out of... ;)

Never! Post all your shit here...we love it :).

I don't have any social life other than what my wife plans for me. I don't have the ingenuity that you have or the energy/motivation to get off my ass to do what I am capable of most of the time. I only seem to get done what I have to these days .

My dad used to own Peugeots! Practically no one else in the US owned them then or now. He had a 404 in the late 60s and when that rusted through (this was in NY) he got a 504 in the late 70s. In all my years in Los Angeles (where cars last forever) I think I've seen three or four Peugeots!

404 (the car I learned to drive on...4 speed stick shift was on the steering column ):

504 (which could barely make it up Interstate 405 hill into the San Fernando Valley!:

I am sharing all my adventures with you guys! :) Don't worry.

I know a lot of people that live there lives just like that. I was living my life as my girlfriend saw fit for her... I got bored of never having my way round and turned one of the bedrooms to a machine shop. I guess I developed all this ingenuity as a child... I never got what I wanted so I started trying to build everything instead. I'm raised in the woods, as you know and the stuff that was around was very limited so I had to come up with what one thing could do instead to what it was meant to do. That catching eye of seeing that have followed me through life. I have so many projects going on in every corner of my life I get sic sometimes of it. Then I got to leave there for some time.

You are right about us humans, always underestimating what we can do... Some of us are overestimating and then we run in to that famous wall. It's about finding that balance in life I guess.

Haha!!! My dad dragged us through Sweden in a 405... Think that was his last before he became a religious Mercedes owner. The 405 is getting really rare around here too... feels like every "old" car is getting rare, even Volvo...

Hope u are having a great weekend shed. Have the missis planned lots of stuff this weekend?

:passitleft:

Great, I'm sure he will appreciate those. Special cookies? How is he doing? Heard anything about the thing yet?
Thanks for asking Crazy! These are the canna chocolate chip cookies I make for him to replace the capsules he no longer remembers how to take. He's doing pretty well. Went to visit him last night and we had fun. We almost always have fun when I visit!

No word/no bill from the lawyer. I'm assuming (hoping) that it means the whole thing went away and he didn't want to bother to bill me for 1 call and an email to the detective. I feel like if I ask him the billing wheels start turning :).

That's great Shed. It's always good to feel you can help your parents. He don't remember how to take them? That sounds worrying... but cookies are sweet they always find a way down ones mouth. :) Great to hear u are having fun. Hope u are lucky to have him around for a long time still.

U got to take that as a good sign in this case. I wouldn't bother calling either. Justice maybe have been served, in that end... wounder if they have found the person who actually did it or supposedly done it.

He's forgotten how to swallow pills. It's a learned skill. I remember having to teach my kids that to get them off liquid medicine. Learned skills can be unlearned with dementia. Chewing and swallowing is in our DNA. When that goes, he goes with it. That's as it should be.

But he loves chocolate!

Ok, I'm sorry to hear. So much that can be affected by illness.... Does our common friend help him any?

You guys make me wonder if I am from another planet.... Living their life... She should share and make both happy.
I can be bossy too, but sharing my man's hobby is important too

Don't take this personal @AngryBird I love women, and the sad part is I still love her. But i believe if you give a person to much trust they can get carried away... and when you want it back they get very upset. I don't think this applies to all but some. I believe it was you who was blinded by all in your previous relationship... when you got out from underneath him you felt so much better, right? :hugs:

Sometimes a guy needs to have something of his own as well...

Yes, I agree that both need a something on their own. I was not allowed to, but he was.
His "own thing" turned bad.
Now I am starting with first steps to do what I always wanted to do.
I believe in both on same level, not one on top.

You see it's got nothing to do with genders. I really hop you get something going soon. I want that too...

Today I got my ass screamed at for not helping her out. She woke me up and said she had made coffee. Right there I already knew something was going on... she never makes coffee. I was suppose to help her charge up the battery for her car, alternator is bust and she got to go and get help with changing to winter tires tomorrow. The tires are stowed away in the summer house, and all of a sudden I'm also supposed to go there and bring them for her... Like I'm not doing anything else today... I'm so fed up with her making decisions over my time. o_O

Besides the boring stuff I was made to do today, I manage to bake an Blueberry pie for my parents. This is like the fourth pie I make this week and the first I ever made was a week ago.

Crazy mad scientist...

This is my old laboratory stuff. Been collecting a few years, I have more but it takes so much room. The colon in the back is a laboratory distillation equipment, used to distill water for pH meters and testing. It was going out the window at work but I manage to save it. Please excuse the dust, been awhile.... ;)
