Lost In The Fog

It's called Natria Pyrsol It says on them to preferably spray during night with no lights on, it suppose to have better affect then. Is it because the bugs are more active then or is it the lights drying the chemicals?
n
A lot of times it’s to keep the leaves from burning in the light. Spraying at lights out allows the chemical to dry before the lights come back on. It’s a common instruction when spraying outdoor plants like roses as well.

Burn them!!!! :D Maybe when Canna Cure still not work u should try some Neem oil?!

Canna Cure did work but I hadn't enough of it. Bought 750ml on a sprayer the first time and now I ordered 1L concentrated, yesterday I bought the Natria Pyrsol spray and I think it contains the neem oil, it says on the sprayer extracted from the Chrysanthemum plant. It seems to have worked so far I think. The Canna Cure contains some chem making the plant cope better under an attack, bugs makes the plants sick and they need some medicine. ;)

Hi CraZy, I was looking for folk who grew out any Holy Punch. I'm growing some over the summer here and am wanting to read some journals if I can. I searched and you came up but I'm having trouble finding if you grew any.
I did see you have some light building skills. Some day maybe we can talk but for now did you grow any Holy Punch?

Or u should get some hyper red from Osram for the flower tent, I rlly think that was good to have in my last grow!!

Light investments on hold right now, the 6040 I already have and ready to be mounted. Will just run a test for a while.

Great that you found my journal! :)

I'm always up for some light building talk otter! Just ask away what you want to know...

I'm cloning a Holy Punch mother right now, had some issues with thrips on her but now she's growing like never before. Took four clones on her about 14 days ago but due to the bugs and pest she got from them I only think one cutting will develop any roots but I'm about to take some more of her tomorrow and I will def post pics of it. So stay tuned on her tent is about to get really stuffed with clones in the next few weeks. :)

Found it.

You bet buddy. :blunt:

But I'm known to have miss read measuring before
Measure twice, plant once ;).
rust spots on the clones it came after my last nuking with dish soap
Always spray just before lights out to prevent burning.
the lights drying the chemicals
Yes.

Neem shouldn't be used in flower...nothing with oil should be used in flower. Spray made from chrysanthemums contain pyrethrins, and from what I've read, that's not something to be burned and inhaled.

I'd stick with the diluted (non-detergent) dish soap (I use castille soap) or a 1:9 70% iso:water mix, daily. That's what I've been using on the clones on the heat mat and it seems to be working on the thrips.

:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: C'mon, we wait 2 weeks then u buy some more :D

Yeah probably.... :nomo:

Now I need to change car this week..... :)

F-ck I used the pyrethrin spray once already but I guess it should go away if I spray dish soap and wash them off in shower.

I should get the Canna Cure spray tomorrow so from now on I will use this for them. Squashed one bug tonight so I don't think I'm out of the woods yet...

I can see now how bugs and pests become a problem when growing around the clock... they can sure do a lot of mess.

Today I added two 6040 blurp cobs in a test of adding more red light to the spectrum. They do produce very much heat so I will try to minimize the run time to one hour at start and one hour in the end och each light cycle. Just need another timer for them. Used two old cpu heat sinks for the build, separated the logic 100 boards some and got them to fit between these pucks.

They run at 50W each and have a broad spectrum but more concentrated on red.
Will snap a few pics when running them as well.

As requested by @stoneotter this is my Green House Seeds Holy Punch mother. Both Punch and Spliff have recovered well from the thrips but as I said before I'm not out of the woods yet I think. No Canna Cure today, sprayed them with just water and very little dish soap.

I can only see root development on one of the Holy Punch cuttings but I will give them a few more days. They were taken when the mother was under severe attack of thrips.

Pls EARTH the Heatsink!!!!!!! Just in case, I dont fully trust those COB's...even I run them by myself. But I showed u how they "deformed" for me, at least the phosphorus layer.

The layer between the Mains and the Heatsink of the COB itself is just a few millimeters...or a few micrometers.

And pls use some plastic washers under the screws, to protect the layer :peace: sorry, better to be safe than sorry :)
